The Aircraft Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that assigned aircraft are maintained within required specifications of 14 CFR Parts 43, 91 and 125 and other FAA and DOD regulations, OEM instructions and CBP directives as required and are airworthy before operation. Principal Accountabilities: Inspect the work of Aircraft Mechanics performing maintenance repairs and modifies aircraft structures, aircraft engines, electrical, avionics and aircraft sub-systems. Implement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Maintain and improve production efficiency within the cell through continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated, and coordinate with the maintenance team when necessary. Train new team members on cell processes and procedures to support their successful integration. Keep accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, downtime, and quality control measurements. Performing hourly quality control measurements to ensure that they are up to MKS' standards.
