Job Summary and Qualifications
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assumes responsibility for assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures on patients ranging in age. The Technologist demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department.
You will provide health care services by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment following scope of practice.
You will provide assistance to the Physicians during all procedural cases and demonstrates anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
You will assist, as needed within scope of practice, in Special Procedures and associated areas as assigned by the department Charge RN and/or the department Director including but not limited to stress testing, Special Procedures, PICC insertion.
You will exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics.
What qualifications you will need:
High School Graduate / GED
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred.
RT with VI or CI credential preferred
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum two (2) years in a health care setting preferred

Reporting directly to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality ControlTechnician is responsible continually monitoring, identifying and controlling non-conformances in respect to product Quality & Product Safety requirements. The Quality ControlTechnician will work collaboratively with the Production Supervisor to install an environment of continual learning, awareness and improvement. The QC technicians will follow set processes and ensure adherence to GMP and product quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for continuous monitoring of all Product Quality requirements through statistical methods, from raw material to palletization
* Responsible for continuous monitoring of Product Safety requirements through continuous audit
* First article/Changeover approval & line clearance in collaboration with Production Supervisor
* Raising NCRs where product is not met and working with Operations team to rectify, quantify and isolate.
* Responsible for monitoring and verifying correct operation of metal detection systems.
* Continuous on-line training of operators in Product Quality and Product Safety requirements.
* Monitoring and recording critical process settings, as determined by Operations.
* Ensures all relevant specifications, standards and other tools are present and up to date for successful manufacture.
* Collect product samples for batch release testing & laboratory retained samples at the end of each shift.
* Verify correct raw materials, monitor quality and verify traceability.
* Auditing employee conformance to issued manufacturing policies associated with Product Quality and Product Safety
* Generation of routine Shift Product Performance reports for Production and Quality Managers
* Responsible for performing production cleaning verification on identified converting equipment and other areas as required.
* Responsible for the verification and collection of all relevant production records and documentation.

Job Description
Responsible for routine chemical analysis and method validation of raw materials, intermediates and finish goods. Additional duties will be to test and validate developed methods on current laboratory equipment.
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adapt existing official and published methods to current laboratory equipment
Design and conduct chemical/mechanical tests to help improve the overall quality of our products
Experience in development and modification of SOPs and new methodologies to ensure product Quality

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work location is in a laboratory setting. Other assignments may be in warehouse or on production floor.

Requirements
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in a natural or physical science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or Microbiology)
Method development experience and a strong working knowledge and experience in HPLC, GCMS, ICPMS, FTIR and UV/Vis Spectrophotometer, or similar laboratory instrumentation
Experience in wet chemistry (chemical identification; sample extraction; titration)
Schedule and /or perform necessary validation, qualification and calibration of laboratory instruments, as needed
Familiarity with USP, FCC, AOAC analytical methods
Strong written and verbal communication skills, to include the ability to communicate effectively with employees and management
Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance and reach.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Job Description
The Quality Tech - Supplier Quality position is the lead point-of-contact between the DA operations team and our vendors/ suppliers, and is responsible for overall performance and improvements in supplier quality and material quality. This position works within the Distributive Assembly (DA) and Riverside Quality System, and uses root cause analysis techniques, and trend/ statistical analysis to assist in the continual improvement of the DA's manufacturing processes.
This individual will also assist in solving problems, controlling variables, and providing candid & accurate feedback that are critical to quality. They will be expected to lead continuous improvement activities and teams focused on improving material quality within the DA.
Organizational Relationship:
This position will report to the Quality Manager as a member of the Continuous Improvement and Quality Department.
Accountabilities:
Request, coordinate and track through completion vendor corrective actions
Develop new metrics and processes to improve material quality (for example: First Pass Yield)
Able to access and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Able to complete and publish End-of-Month Vendor Scrap Reports
Audit incoming and in-process pallets for non-conforming material
Audit current processes for identification of defects in material goods and process execution
Coordinate processing of non-conforming material into quarantine receiving “red zone” and/or vendor scrap area
Maintain accountability over quarantined material and expedite disposition through vendors
Actively participate in Process, Shipping and Out-of-Box Audits and work towards resolution of open items
Interacts with Leadership in the identification and resolution of product quality problems
Frequently interacts with internal and external customers to resolve quality problems
Coordinate return of defective material to vendors with Materials/Supply group
Audit and evaluate pallets of non-conforming material and reconcile discrepancies between actual inventory and tally report sheets
Capture defect data, analyze, and identify/communicate trends with recommended countermeasures for resolution.
Coach employees on proper processing of “scrap” materials and with proper repair techniques
Periodically review specifications and Standard Operating Sheets (SOS) etc. for accuracy and revisions
Support Riverside DA employees and Leadership as needed to interpret specifications and solve problems
Assist with creating quality standards and visual aids, and training associates on their intended use
Participate in Kaizen improvement events, especially those focused on quality
Generate, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS)
Support Annual Physical Inventories
Support root cause investigations in collaboration with Quality Technician.
Perform Pick Cart Audits
Review and respond to Hour By Hour Supplier related defects being reported.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with expertise in Excel preferred
Ability to apply and interpret basic statistical data
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to discern colors and see defects from arm's length away
Must have the ability to actively initiate, lead, and participate in problem solving activities as they pertain to supplier quality issues
Must be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance to the Riverside Quality System
Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
Able to work under normal supervision and self-pace as required
Willing to perform basic 5S (housekeeping/organization) steps and maintain the vendor scrap area and vendor scrap work cell
Two years' experience within a manufacturing environment preferred

The ability to operate a manual pallet jack

The ability to work in a hot and/or dusty environment
SHIFTS:
