Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site. You will be responsible for performing in-line inspections of citrus products (such as in-line bags and juice), ensuring they meet customer specifications and internal quality standards. Working closely with the QA Specialist, you will help maintain grade standards, report quality-related issues, and communicate important updates to the sales team and ownership. This role plays a critical part in helping us deliver consistent product quality and maintain strong customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Collaborate with the sales team to manage and maintain customer specification sheets. Provide detailed updates on packhouse fruit quality to the sales team and ownership. Perform detailed inspections of packed products and conduct in-line inspections on KRP LP product (e.g., in-line bags/juice) while it is running on the production line. Maintain grade standards with guidance from the QA Specialist, adjusting based on customer requirements and fruit quality. Identify and communicate quality-related issues to the QA Specialist. Coordinate potential flex options based on individual customer requirements. Gather and share quality-related information from the field with the sales team. Work with the packinghouse to organize sample cartons for the sales team. Coordinate the import quality control program with each packinghouse. Track and report any quality issues with pallets. Work closely with the export manager to ensure export protocols are met. Collaborate with team members and members of other departments. Handle additional tasks as assigned. Requirements High School diploma is required, bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with Famous Software is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Essential Functions Perform any and all analytical testing as needed, i.e.: moisture, fat, pH, total solids, titratable acidity, salt, electrical conductivity, antibiotic, etc. Perform any and all bacteriological testing as required, i.e.: total plate count, yeast and mold, coliform, environmental monitoring, air monitoring etc. Perform confirmation testing on presumptive positive antibiotic loads, to include sulfa and tetra on the Charm II and confirmation of Beta Lactams on Charm S/L. Obtain and maintain a Limited Samplers and Weigher's license. Must be able to set-up, operate, maintain, clean, and calibrate all pieces of laboratory equipment maintained in the laboratory and other departments. Adherence to procedures to ensure accuracy of results. Operate automated equipment for testing of milk and butter products. Must follow all necessary safety precautions while testing and while in other departments, such as the use of safety glasses, gloves, proper transferring of chemicals, etc. Must be able to operate personal computer and systems computer to input necessary data.
