Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of approved School of Radiology or equivalent training (if hired before September, 1990).
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
BLS required and ACLS preferred within 12-24 months of hire date.
Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate required.
Has successfully completed a basic EKG class after employment within one year.
Experience:
One year patient care experience required.

Responsibilities
Set ups and operate a variety of electrical equipment in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory during a variety of procedures.
Monitors the patient's electrocardiogram during procedures, alerts the physician of any irregular heart activity or change in pressure. Charges the patient appropriately for the procedure.
Explains all procedures to the patient along with risks involved. Obtain consent forms signed by the patient prior to the procedure.
Prepares patients for procedures.
Acts as a circulator in the case, connects monitoring lines, checks pulses, collects and sets up appropriate equipment for the case.
Performs as a sterile assistant, assists the physician in scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field, assists the physician with catheter and/or equipment insertion and removal. Dresses and/or sutures insertion site following the procedure. Sets up arterial pressure line (if needed) or pulls sheath and obtains hemostasis.
Assists in the use of arterial closure devices.
Records, interprets, and calculates various types of data collected during the procedure.
Maintains equipment, corrects equipment malfunctions and reports malfunctions for repair.
Instructs technologists and others in the performance of technical procedures, operations of equipment, and collection and interpretation of data.
Demonstrates knowledge of the proper operation of x-ray equipment used in the Cath Lab.
Monitors and is responsible for quality assurance of the x-ray equipment.
Maintains continuing education classes to assure certification.
Participates in the on call rotation.
Collects appropriate past patient information for the physician to review (old cine films, cath records, etc.).
Adheres to behavioral standards.
Performs other related work as required or requested.

In this job you will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of sub assembles and products per the appropriate standards and specifications. In this role, you will be required to apply the ISO-9001 standard to all S&C processes, ensuring adherence to Inspection Plans, Inspection Specification Procedures, and Process Specification Procedures, and document all inspection findings into Defect Collection system.
As a Mechanical Quality Technologist, you will be responsible for identifying any special requirements on the assembly being inspected and ensure that the product meets those special requirements. In addition, you will be required to be able to perform any specialized inspections within the process and be able to train Assistant Mechanical Quality Technologists.
On a regular basis you will be interacting with production team members, engineering, and other members of QA. This position requires an understanding how to use a computer and the ability to search and locate standards and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct analyses of in-process materials and finished goods checking for quality and that the product meets all requirements
Monitor processes to ensure items are assembled according to item specifications, protocols and standard methods
Interpret test results, such as rundown reports, and validate they conform to the specifications and control limits in place

Job Overview:
The Quality Technician performs a variety of tests to ensure units function according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using test instruments: Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections per applicable prints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Performs inspection of parts for conformance with engineering or other process specifications or instructions
When applicable, use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
Calibrate and verify accuracy on precision gages.
Must follow gauging part check procedure.
Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters.
Monitoring and testing product/batch quality
Needs working knowledge of GD&T and able to read part drawings.
Utilizes performance, test, and inspection data to investigate causes for product nonconformance and field problems and plays an active role in problem resolution.
Helps Identify areas of production/processes that can be improved upon.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in quality inspection experience in a factory environment
Preferences:
3+ years of experience in quality in a manufacturing environment supporting industrial parts and product manufacturing
Experience operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), programming experience a plus.
Good knowledge of precision measurement and test equipment
Interpret engineering prints/specifications and geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledge of ISO Quality System requirements
Competencies- Need to be self-starting and work independently with minimal supervision.

Shift: 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Key contributor of the manufacturing quality assurance organization by performing daily audits of the manufacturing process to ensure all products and processes are abiding by the specifications and standards set by the leadership teams
User of test lab equipment such as tensile/torsion testers, hardness testers, metallurgical equipment (cut/mount/polish, optical and stereo microscopes), and other various test equipment
Operate CMM and VMM measuring machines and user of handheld devices such as calipers, micrometers, height/snap/pin gauges and other various devices to support metrology needs
Initiate Quality System documentation, such as Inspections, Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR's), quality alerts
Contribute to the creation of work instructions
Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material
Ability to navigate document repository web page to locate inspection reports, blueprints and other quality documents
Participate in gage R&R studies as needed
Mentor Quality Technician I personnel and provide guidance to manufacturing operators
Effectively communicate across shifts and weekend work within internal teams and cross-functional teams
Support Operator instruction/ training on new procedures or techniques
Perform basic math; fraction to decimal conversion, arithmetic and units of measure conversion, and basic statistics
Consciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment

Technologist, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse

The Component Quality Technologist provides a variety of services aimed at helping its
internal customers, S&C leaders and team members, deliver superior quality to our
customers. Quality planning, inspection, audit, quality information, quality improvement
consulting, and quality communications are examples of the kind of services that the
organization provides.
In this job you will be responsible for inspecting fabricated parts, sub-assemblies and final
assemblies, including painted components, made from various machines such as shears,
punch presses, and welding work centers. You will be required to work with assembly and
detailed prints, industry standards, routings, BOMs, specifications, instruction bulletins,
and customer notes. Inspecting the products will require you to use various pieces of
inspection equipment and the ability to select the appropriate measuring equipment such
as tape measures, go/no go gages, special gages, torque wrenches, thread plug gages,
fluke meters, and fuses holder standards.
The job will require you to clearly communicate verbally and in written format. Abnormal
conditions, must be clearly recorded on the Checklist, DPU report, and/or on a NMR. All
defects will be recorded and clearly explained to assembly team members and shop floor
leadership. There will be times when product will be placed on hold until you clearly
explain the abnormal conditions to engineers so they can determine if the product could be
sent to the customer or needs to be reworked.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Complete recording of abnormalities on the checklists, DPU reports, and/or nonconforming
material reports.
Inspecting fabricated parts.
Inspecting sub-assemblies.
Inspecting final assemblies.
An awareness of necessary safety practices and procedures.

Job Overview:
The Quality Technician performs a variety of tests to ensure units function according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using test instruments: Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections per applicable prints and specifications.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience in quality inspection experience in a factory environment
Preferences:
3+ years of experience in quality in a manufacturing environment supporting industrial parts and product manufacturing
Experience operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), programming experience a plus.

Your Role on Our Team

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday 3:00-11:00pm
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Key contributor of the manufacturing quality assurance organization by performing daily audits of the manufacturing process to ensure all products and processes are abiding by the specifications and standards set by the leadership teams
User of test lab equipment such as tensile/torsion testers, hardness testers, metallurgical equipment (cut/mount/polish, optical and stereo microscopes), and other various test equipment
Operate CMM and VMM measuring machines and user of handheld devices such as calipers, micrometers, height/snap/pin gauges and other various devices to support metrology needs
Initiate Quality System documentation, such as Inspections, Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR's), quality alerts
Contribute to the creation of work instructions
Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material
Ability to navigate document repository web page to locate inspection reports, blueprints and other quality documents
Participate in gage R&R studies as needed
Mentor Quality Technician I personnel and provide guidance to manufacturing operators
Effectively communicate across shifts and weekend work within internal teams and cross-functional teams
Support Operator instruction/ training on new procedures or techniques
Perform basic math; fraction to decimal conversion, arithmetic and units of measure conversion, and basic statistics
Consciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment
