Approves NCRs generated by production, and generates NCRs originating from IQC.
Prepares quality documents and analysis, including spreadsheets, reports, memos and other correspondence as needed.
Uses quality data and documentation to suggest improvements to product quality and compliance when needed.
Researches, analyzes and prepares recommendations regarding spikes in quality data or workmanship related defects.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

Perform weekly audit to ensure preservation, organization, and completeness of quality data related to Hipot records and Incoming Quality Inspection records.
Issues Nonconformity reports, tracks the responses and verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions by performing re-audits.
Works with repair and test team to obtain root cause for outstanding items on repair and test reports and communicate this to QE.
Work with quality supervisor and inspectors when needed to clarify data input to ensure accuracy in daily reporting
Perform periodic audits of MyCIS quality data to ensure completeness and report findings to quality lead to be addressed.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a minimum 5 years of related document control experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, VISIO and Manufacturing Pro

Checks metal detectors (CCP), magnets, scales and performs critical control point & GMP audits.
Assist in all foreign material & product non-conformance investigations.
Performs batch set-up checks, assists in correcting the set ups, and logs discrepancies.
Places product on hold as necessary and release when appropriate.
Rejects product as necessary and completes rejection forms including root cause and corrective action analysis.
Checks allergen clean out effectiveness as needed
Perform Pre - Op audit when necessary (example: equipment down for maintenance).
Perform production scale checks and lab equipment calibration based on calibration schedule.
Collect micro samples as needed and places micro hold products on hold.
Performs special tasks as assigned by QC manager
Maintains retain sample area and control sample file

Role Purpose:
Execute assigned tasks to support establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System. Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and procedures and accommodating requests for support.
Key Accountabilities:
* Perform Quality audits, inspections and documentation.
* Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management.
* Monitor and report level of QMS implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audit activities, observation, review of quality metrics and customer feedback.
* Support QA training for new and existing associates.

* Control scrapped or rejected parts until disposition is determined.
* Perform preventative maintenance as required.

Heat Treat
* Preparation of test samples through a process of polishing and chemical activation of sample surface.
* Set up and operation of gages to accurately inspect material hardness and micro-hardness.
* Creation of test samples through the use of specialized cutting equipment.
* Maintain files and records per requirements.
* Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
* Know and practice the 5S's for industrial housekeeping.
* Operate tools, presses and equipment properly and adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
* Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Auditing
* Conduct recon tools, accessories packaging, and accessories manufacturing audits daily utilizing print and process control plan specifications.
* Disassemble and analyze product during the performance of a teardown audit.
* Perform Process Control Plan audits when required.
* Investigate and use SPC tools for problem solving failures and rejects.
* Maintain and complete proper records and documentation.
* Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction including NCR, SCAR, and CAR databases for non-conforming product.
* Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions of parts per specifications.
* Know and practice the 5S's for industrial housekeeping.
* Operate tools, and equipment properly and adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
* Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Battery Warranty Analysis
* Conduct warranty analysis on batteries returned from Authorized Service Centers and Authorized Distributors per the Battery Return Policies currently in place.
* Maintain and complete proper records and documentation.
* Prepare batteries for recycling once they have been evaluated.
* Know and practice the 5S's for industrial housekeeping.
* Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Education
* Requires an education equivalent to high school diploma or GED.
* Technical certification is preferred
Experience
* Quality assurance or quality control experience preferred.
* Experience reading prints and using gages required.
* Vendor/supplier relations experience helpful.
Knowledge Required
* Computer experience and experience using SPC techniques helpful.
* Excellent organizational skills required.
* Ability to perform work per instructions with minimal supervision, and within reasonable time.
