Essential Functions: Evaluate aggregates for moisture content for adjustment of mix quantities and gradation for compliance with specification. Conduct fresh concrete testing via sampling. Perform slump, temperature, air, and unit weight tests; prepare test cylinders and record results. Conduct pre and post pour inspections of product to ensure compliance with drawings. Inspect for form dimensions & squareness, reinforcing steel, embedment plates, lifting inserts, etc. Record results and complete cull report for non-conforming products. Conduct/Inspect strand stressing to ensure compliance with drawings and specified tolerance. Record results and material certification data. Perform concrete strength tests prior to release of prestressing and at 28 days and record results. Periodic inspection of headed stud and assembly welding. Participate in the identification, documentation and execution of safe practices in all areas of production to assure safety is equal in importance to the quality of product produced. Perform concrete batching in Precast and clean mixer. Report problems to QC Lead and/or the Director of Engineering.
