RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates electronic assets and determines value based on physical and operational condition.

Cross trains in all areas within Operations to ensure site flexibility and contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the Operations systems and processes.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree in a technology field, or equivalent experience
2+ years' experience working with hardware products, preferably in a repair related field
Strong computer literacy
Results oriented, team oriented, and excellent attention to detail
Ability to travel to other sites or customer locations (10% of time)
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
BIOS configuration
Ability to configure, repair and/or upgrade electronic assets
Ability to identify and install pc hardware and peripherals
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in various forms (written, oral or diagram)

The Metalworker QC Inspector is more than just a modern day superhero. They conduct routine inspections on rides and equipment to ensure the safety of our Guests and Cast Members. The Metalworker QC Inspector is expected to complete scheduled inspections by the end of shift and assist with repairs if necessary. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
**The pay rate for this role in Florida is $33.40 per hour.**

**Responsibilities :**
+ Perform NDT (Non Destructive Testing) inspection of welds, ride structure, and ride vehicles
+ Execute overhead rigging safety inspections
+ Complete various mechanical inspections
+ Perform rope access inspections
+ Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
+ Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
**Basic Qualifications :**
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience performing weld inspections or equivalent visual inspections
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience documented as a Level II NDT Certified Inspector in magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection
+ Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, sketches, and verbal instruction
+ Familiar with non-destructive test techniques and basic mechanical measurement equipment
+ Ability to perform rope access work
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
+ Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
+ Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ SPRAT Rope Access Certification
+ Familiarity with ultrasonic digital thickness measurement
+ Computer literate
+ Knowledge of AWS and ASME codes
+ Mechanical inspection experience or ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.
+ Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Job Summary: Focuses on analytical laboratory activities for specific testing involving HPLC; in addition, participation in a variety of food quality control analytical/microbiological support activities is required. Work is performed through the application of a body of knowledge related to standard laboratory methods, practices, procedures, policies, regulations, and laboratory materials and equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Operates and maintains HPLC units Prepping and running samples following established protocol, responsible for maintaining instruments, calibrating, and following maintenance regimen. Prepare eluent and required reagents. Responsible for accuracy in the preparation of reagents, eluents, and standards. Performs chemical and physical analyses on a variety of samples, including food products and intermediate samples. Tests include but are not limited to organoleptic evaluations, pH, acidity titrations, sodium, nitrate/nitrite analyses, Brix, moisture, specific gravity, moisture, pulp content, etc. Performs required calculations and posts/maintains required spreadsheets. Performs microbiological analyses on a variety of products, following required aseptic techniques in media prep, sample collection, plating and bacteria identification. Logs samples and related pertinent information. Follows appropriate documentation and record-keeping procedures. Performs related work as assigned.
