The Role
As a Production Tech, you'll be an essential part of the process of turning raw cannabis flower into our beautiful line of medicated products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. Here at GTI, we are looking for true team players who are the perfect hybrid between precision and energy.
Full time only, M-F 8am-430pm, overtime available occasionally. $18.50/hr, going to $19/hr at 90 days.
Responsibilities
Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
Produce product per recipes and SOP's, maintaining high quality standards
Package product into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
Ensure all standards for processing procedures and laboratory protocols are followed
Compliance with local and state regulations
Adherence to quality control methods throughout entire process
Documentation of manufacturing methods are created and maintained
Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
Manage time efficiently to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the facility with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift
Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and Windows based operating software
Use independent judgment regarding product processing, keeping quality and goals in mind
Help create a positive environment by having a positive attitude and by being self-motivated

Qualifications
High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred
1-2 years' experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, and/or inventory preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Must be able to work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and technique
Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by GTI

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Position: Quality Control Technician / Inspector (2nd Shift)
Summary:
This position is responsible for inspecting and documenting incoming material and finished parts, and performing detailed 1st piece inspections as well as final inspections. It requires good working knowledge of standard measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gages, and optical comparator. The position also requires completing documentation, use of our CMM system to verify parts and familiarity with blueprint reading related to highly-engineered parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Perform first piece inspection, in process and final inspection; Perform receiving inspection, validate quality of purchased and manufactured materials, parts and components as per set acceptance criteria, determining conformance to prints and specifications.
Provide assistance in the performance of any other quality functions as defined in the Quality Manual, such as gauge calibration, inventory, and nonconforming parts assessment.

Complete daily pre-Operational (pre-op) sanitation plant inspections, environmental swabbing, and paperwork for the interior and exterior of the plant, communicate corrective actions to the Operations team leadership immediately, and verify the assigned corrective actions were done in the agreed-upon timeframe
Complete cooler checks and associated paperwork twice per day and report any deviations immediately
Sample and grade raw whole squid during processing and boat unloading against specifications, such as external quality, internal quality, appearance, aroma, texture, count per pound, weight, length, width, and others as needed
Upload photographs of raw whole squid samples, enter all quality data to assigned computer location, and report results to assigned individuals the same day as the evaluation
Conduct daily calibration accuracy checks for equipment such as thermometers and scales and report any deviations immediately
Perform quality control assessments of prepared calamari products against specifications, such as appearance, aroma, texture, taste, count per pound, net weight, glaze percent, size, and defects
Upload photographs of prepared calamari samples, enter all quality data to assigned computer location, and report results to assigned individuals the same day as the evaluation
Check in-line samples and rework against specifications and report status to Operations immediately
Fulfill sales samples requests by picking orders, packing them appropriately for the product and outside temperature, and arranging shipping and pick-up as needed
Clean and sanitize work stations to standard regularly

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting Quantic Evans-manufactured capacitors and capacitor banks. Quality Screening Technician 1, East Providence, RI
Reporting to the Customer Quality Manager, the Quality Screening technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting capacitors and capacitor banks made by Quantic Evans, ensuring they meet order specifications and quality standards.
Expected Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Product Reliability Tester (45%):
Perform long-term reliability testing on assemblies, including life, thermal exposure, vibration, voltage surge testing
Perform continuous monitoring testing on assemblies including fine leak test and shock.
Perform special screening of finished assemblies in accordance with customer requirements.
Perform electrical and functional tests on capacitor assemblies and capacitor banks for capacitance, Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), and Direct Current Leakage (DCL).
Use testing equipment to diagnose issues and ensure product functionality.
Document test procedures and results.
Customer Quality Support (40%):
Compile and provide data for Lot Acceptance Test (LAT) reporting by the Customer Quality Manager.
Research shipped product history including production records, serial/lot numbers, and test records to support customer specific inquiries.
Coordinate customer returns including logging, tagging and preparation of returned products for evaluation and analysis.
Work with Customer Quality Manager and Engineering to identify defects/failure modes of products
Provide input for problem solving reports and organize supporting materials.
In-Process Inspector (15%):
Monitor production processes and perform regular quality checks.
Identify and address potential quality issues during manufacturing.
Work closely with production teams to implement quality improvements.

Requirements:
Criteria For Success
Must be considered a U.S. Person eligible to work in the United States
Requires 1 to 3 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or Equivalent, Technical school preferred
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to communicate in English
Knowledge and understanding of scientific/ engineering notation.
Capability to set up and use test equipment and measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, multimeters, megohmmeters, and precision impedance meters.
Prior experience with ISO 9001 and / or AS9100 standards desired
Must possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

This technician will be required to support electrical/electronic tasks conducted at our production facility in Portsmouth RI, by performing the following tasks:
Cable and electrical assembly fabrication to print, testing and troubleshooting using engineering drawings schematics, wiring tables and parts lists.
Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or crimp connecting.
Performing simple or routine tasks or tests such as but not limited to continuity and point to point assembly and sub-assemblies' verification and recording test data.
Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience fabricating and testing cable and electrical control and monitoring assemblies using engineering drawing packages. Additionally, ability to solder.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical control and monitoring systems.
Familiarity with Mil-Spec and IPC Standards
IPC Certification in soldering and cable/wire harness fabrication
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
