**Work Environment & Physical Demands**

- Overtime may be required; extended day, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.
- Must be able to handle and work physical inventory
- Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are required.

A day in the life
Your shift starts at 7:00 AM. You review the ERP dispatch list, pull the latest drawings, and load the program. Tooling is set, offsets are dialed in, and you verify with a dry run. The first piece comes off the machine; calipers, micrometers, and a tape measure confirm the critical dimensions. You document the first-piece inspection, update quality records, and contribute to capability studies to validate process stability. Throughout the day, you rotate between CNC mills and lathes, keep equipment in top shape, and partner with quality and engineering when questions arise. You wrap up by logging production in the ERP system, cleaning your area, and ensuring everything aligns with safety, ISO, and company quality requirements.
What you will do
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery and related manufacturing equipment to produce parts to print
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to plan and execute machining operations
Conduct first-piece and routine inspections, recording results with precision and accuracy
Use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Support quality initiatives such as data collection, capability studies, and documentation
Contribute to ISO compliance efforts and participate in quality training as needed
Maintain equipment, adhere to safety procedures, and uphold product quality standards
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement
What you bring
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with inspection and measuring tools
