FLSA Status: Exempt Primary Job Function The Quality Assurance Manager is lead person for the IMC Quality Management System (QMS), giving daily direction to quality personnel concerning quality related issues vs. production scheduling, inspection and testing. Works with customer on quality issues keeping the key managers in the loop on customer perceptions of IMC. Assists in setup and analysis of quality metrics, quality product reviews and new product development documentation. Reports quality performance metrics to all functions of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Delegates various aspects of the system to others but retains the overall responsibility and accountability for the QMS Ensures that the quality system is kept current Provides periodic assessment of the effectiveness of the system Reports to the Management Team on the status of the QMS. This review is composed of several measures, including the results of internal quality system audits. Senior Process Engineer

This position assists all plant operations in controlling processes to levels that meet expectations related to quality, cost, control and consistency. Creates and maintains databases and reporting of performance. Troubleshoots variability for reduction or elimination. Incumbent will perform projects with the goal of achieving cost reductions and process and part improvements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Create, maintain, & evaluate process control systems and procedures. Troubleshoot activities with variation and out of control parameters. Utilize NEI Six Sigma tools as the basis for project management. Set up projects, collect and input data, perform statistical analysis as the measure for significance. Interface with Engineering and Manufacturing to determine root cause for process and part issues. Identify opportunities for process improvements resulting in cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency. Perform day-to-day monitoring of department specific KCC (key control characteristics) and KPO (key process outputs). Complete tasks/projects on a timely basis with accuracy using sound scientific methodology, with attention to detail and good judgment. Work and communicate effectively with manufacturing, quality, planning and engineering. Provide input and analysis for procedural changes to include work instructions, manuals, etc. Perform other related duties as assigned. Quality Technician Department: Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisory Responsibilities: No Reports to: FSQA Manager Worker Category: Full-Time FLSA Classification: Non-exempt Bonus Eligibility: We Win Together Bonus Plan This seasonal position will support increased production needs through mid-August, with the possibility of continued work after that. Position Summary: The Quality Technician is responsible for verifying quality procedures on our production floor to ensure that all products meet our internal standards. This role helps monitor GMPs on the production floor and ensure that all personnel and processes adhere to proper Food Safety practices, addressing any quality deviations that may arise. In addition, the Quality Technician is responsible for performing routine checks on all packaging lines and reviewing and verifying all records completed by production and operations. The Quality team works closely with the production team and laboratory team to ensure the production of quality products in a timely fashion. Job Responsibilities: Provide guidance and recommendations to employees in production regarding GMPs, product specifications, and food safety practices. Train new hires in the FSQA Department on key tasks and job responsibilities. Monitor the production team's adherence to GMPs, product specifications, SOPs, SSOPs, and food safety. Address all GMP violations with both production management and team members. Conduct sampling and perform routine checks and testing on multiple packaging lines, including but not limited to verification of packaging lot codes, correct packaging components, package integrity, carbonation, and cap removal torque. Identify and implement corrective actions when production deviates from the Food Safety Plan and practices. Furnish accurate verbal and written reports and shift hand-downs to the quality department and plant management regarding product and process quality and consistency, process capabilities, and Food Safety. Identify and address GMP violations with quality management, production management, and team members. Assist Operations/Production with creating Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work Instructions and adhering to processes. Review and verify all QA/QC records, including shipping & receiving, monitoring, cleaning, and all Process Control Documents. Function as internal auditor to monitor the plant for compliance with FSMA and 3rd-party regulations and review for compliance with GMPs performing inspections of the production floor as needed. Support quality management systems, including pest control, chemical verification, traceability, and others as determined by management. Identify and investigate non-conforming materials, place material on hold as needed and communicate with production on all holds and product disposition. Conduct a pre-shipment review of the finished product Assist with investigating customer complaints Obtain and maintain accurate records to determine the consistency of product quality, compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and documentation of the Food Safety Plan. Act as backup to the FSQA Document Coordinator for crucial food safety functions Qualifications & Experience: BS degree or coursework in related field is a plus (Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline), or experience in Quality Assurance Intermediate MS Office or Google Platform experience Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and move dynamically on the production floor Ability to sit continuously at a computer Carry weight, lift up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Responsible for usage of software, hardware, materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of quality. Responsible for defined product sampling and checks for non-conformity. Executes required inspections defined by sampling plans for product conformity with a focus on Customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Inspect parts to ensure conformity to the customer requirement and to industry standards.
