This position is responsible for the implementation and management of the project quality control program and performance of daily quality procedures and provide proper coordination and construction that meet project standards and requirements. The position will work directly with both internal and external team members, to provide document review, coordination, and implementation during construction and commissioning. Position Description Ability to work and communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, consultants and owner representatives. Execute inspections with trade partners to oversee checklist and accuracy before and after inspection. Familiarity with a broad range of general construction processes and nomenclature including testing laboratory protocols and procedures, soils and concrete testing, asphalt paving, structural steel and welding and general construction observations. Plant Quality Technician - DaysResponsible for executing corporate and plant specific Food Safety, Quality and Laboratory requirements. The QA Technician reports to QA Manager. In the absence of the Quality Assurance Technician, the QA Manager or designate will assume the job duties. Essential Functions Ensure all parameters of food safety and quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the facility. Assist with batching chemicals/ingredients for production. Calibrate lab and line equipment for accurate results. Collect in-process and finished product samples. Conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing to ensure it meets specifications. Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination. Follow protocols for documenting testing results. Recognize deficiencies and initiate proper follow-up.
