Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary quality interface for manufacturing facilities, ensuring adherence to product specifications and quality standards. Monitor SMT process parameters including solder paste application, pick-and-place accuracy, reflow profiles, and component placement to optimize yield. Analyze production data, identify trends, and drive continuous process improvements to reduce defects and enhance product reliability. Investigate and resolve quality issues related to SMT and assembly processes, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Support new product introductions (NPI) by providing input on manufacturability, process capability, and quality requirements. Collaborate with suppliers, engineering, and production teams to ensure component quality and process consistency. Maintain compliance with industry standards (IPC, ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and internal quality guidelines. Train manufacturing personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices. Participate in audits, inspections, and quality reporting activities to senior management. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering. 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically SMT and product assembly. Strong understanding of SMT processes: solder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, wave soldering, inspection (AOI, X-ray, visual). Hands-on experience with quality tools and methodologies: FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Six Sigma principles. Familiarity with electronic components, PCBA assembly, and testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. Experience with ERP/MES systems, quality management software, and reporting tools is a plus.

Job Responsibilities: * Ensure Core documents (Process Flow, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan) capture all customer requirements based on Voice of Customer, Field rejections, Lessons Learned, and Historical Quality issues. Ensure plant launch team reviews and approves core documents. * Ensure List of Special Characteristics (Customer identified and TI Automotive identified) is developed as per RASIC and cascaded through all core documents including standardized work instructions and Inspection instructions. * Responsible to ensure all deliverable are met and signed off before start of production and post launch review as per RASIC. This includes: LMSO, containment and scrap reduction, equipment and work area review, packaging requirements, cost budget, workforce planning support, launch system effectiveness, plant launch readiness, run at rate, material orders, PSO audit, etc. * Perform Launch Readiness audits, identify open issues and get them closed to ensure successful launch. * Support Pre-production build events as per RASIC at the plant as well as at the tool shop and ensure build requirements are met. * Ensure Tooling, Secondary fixtures as well as gauges are bought off by the plant, meeting the buy-off requirements as per TI Automotive standards. * Ensure Safe Launch/ Containment is in place for any pre-production parts made and shipped. Make sure Containment is closed within 90 days of SOP. * Support plants to obtain on time PPAP. * Track Plant Launch performance using APQP Gate review status. * Requires approximately 50% travel, depending on business needs.
