Perform root cause analysis and metallurgical failure investigations to assess fracture behavior, material defects, contamination, and heat-treat variances. Evaluate raw materials, refractory linings, and high-temperature components to ensure compliance with specifications and durability standards. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality departments to resolve metallurgical issues and improve process control. Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing metallurgical findings, test results, alloy performance, and process improvement recommendations. Participate in continuous improvement, cost-reduction, and metallurgy-related initiatives to enhance product reliability and material performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience as a metallurgist, metallurgical engineer, materials engineer, or similar role within metals manufacturing, foundry operations, or industrial laboratory environments.
