What You'll Do: Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against engineering drawings and specifications. Perform product inspections daily using height gages, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools. Document inspection results through reports, logs, and database entries, including rework and scrap tracking. Communicate nonconformances to affected parties and follow up for required adjustments. Issue Corrective Actions where appropriate based on internal guidelines. Maintain and manage all production gauges; performing in-house calibration where possible and coordinating third-party calibration when necessary. Verify proper operation of gauges; manage inspection and repair as required. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements. Maintain SOPs for the Quality department, making revisions and updates as needed. Assist with auditing internal work procedures and making recommendations to address non-conformances. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in STEM or related coursework preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, engineering or manufacturing role is preferred.
