ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support depot-level repair, overhaul, and sustainment of high-reliability defense electronic systems. This role focuses on developing, sustaining, and improving repair processes for complex electronic assemblies operating in mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on electronics repair experience, strong process discipline, and the ability to drive yield, quality, and throughput in a regulated defense environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, document, and maintain depot repair processes for complex electronic assemblies, including PCBA, electro-mechanical, cable/harness, and box-level units
• Author and sustain repair work instructions, travelers, routings, and process flows
• Provide day-to-day process engineering support to depot repair operations
• Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities
• Support repair transfer and sustainment activities
• Define tooling, fixtures, and test equipment requirements
• Track process performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, IPC, ITAR, ESD, and security requirements
• Support audits and government oversight
• Train and mentor repair technicians
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related)
• 3+ years supporting electronics manufacturing or depot-level repair
• Working knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001)
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments
• Strong technical documentation and troubleshooting skills
• U.S. Person status (ITAR)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Defense or aerospace depot repair experience

Ability to work at a minimum of 80% of the time on the production floor.

As a Quality CMM Technician for General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) Precision Structures & Optics (PSO), you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure that all machined parts meet stringent quality and precision standards. This role requires a strong understanding of metrology, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). The Quality CMM Technician performs overall quality inspection for machined parts to ensure they meet the company's quality standards for the manufacture of Beryllium products for use in the most demanding applications, across the aerospace, defense, and nuclear industries. Our products are used in high performance sensing systems for targeting and acquisition, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, and are hardened for the battlefield environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate CMM equipment to perform precise measurements of machined parts
Program CMM machines using appropriate software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso)
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols to determine measurement requirements
Conduct first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections to verify product compliance
Document and report inspection results, including any deviations or non-conformances
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

As the Advanced Manufacturing Systems Engineer, Expert will manage the design, implementation, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Factory Information Systems (FIS), and robotics within the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Be engaged in Safety; participate in site Safety programs and ensure operational discipline and compliance with both company and regulatory safety standards.
Design and implement MES (GE Proficy) and FIS solutions to support real-time monitoring, control, and optimization of manufacturing processes. Collaborate with teams to integrate robotics and control systems into production areas, ensuring seamless operation and data flow.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through MES, FIS, robotics, and control systems. Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve plans.
Design, program, and implement control systems for automated equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Develop control algorithms to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Develop data collection systems to capture measurements and production metrics. Create dashboards and reports to provide insights into production performance, and quality.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

In this role, you will serve as a Welding Manufacturing Engineer supporting the development, launch, and ongoing production of welded components and assemblies. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, implement, and optimize manual and automated welding processes to meet safety, quality, cost, and production requirements.
+ Lead and support manufacturing execution by directing process technicians, tooling technicians, and robot programmers, including oversight of assigned direct reports.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Quality, Assembly, Tube Fabrication, Paint, and New Product Introduction teams to support current production and new product launches.
