POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Production Engineer will assist engineers and manufacturing staff with business-critical projects that support daily operations, safety, quality and productivity improvements of our products and processes. This position will cover existing operations and help with our expansion projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consults with design engineers on features needed for new or existing installation.
Prepares purchase requisitions or work orders to obtain needed tools or parts for the installation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar engineering area

Creating engineering designs and work scope for substation projects and confirming documentation and support is available to necessary personnel. Possible items including steel structures, foundations, clearances, layout drawings, grounding, oil containment, lightning protection, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensuring designs support a safe environment for transmission lines and substations personnel, contractors and the general public.
Preparing bills-of-material and specifications to procure needed equipment and materials for a substation project.
