Strong working knowledge of construction processes, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

POSITION SUMMARY:

· Assist in formulation of new products and renovation of existing products, introducing new profit streams into the company

The Quality Technician will examine materials for flaws and deviations from original product specifications. This role will inspect, accept, or reject products for durability, function, customer satisfaction, and overall quality. The Quality Technician will perform various quality control related inspection and verification activities on raw material, in-process products, and final products to ensure the product meets required safety and quality standards as required in stay in compliance with ISO/IATF standards. CORE FUNCTIONS
· Issue In-Process Check Sheet to areas producing OEM and Aftermarket programs.
· Monitoring of process, visual inspection and measurement data collection for critical characteristics, document results into statistical software and maintain runs charting.
· Report trends, shifts, and jumps in process to Quality Assurance Management.
· Inspect and test raw materials and in-process products, and final products.
· Monitor testing procedures, interpret results, capture data into program software, report out on inspection results,
· Administer data and Document Control responsibilities in compliance with ISO/IATF standards.
· Perform process layered, product and/or dispatch audits - document and report results.
· Perform MSA studies, recall and calibration on instruments used to ensure product quality per MSA, recall, and calibration schedule.
· Participate in creation of PPAP packages - specifically dimensional layouts, IMDS inputs, quarantine management and in-coming inspection (if applicable).
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
· 3-5 years in a quality or manufacturing related position is preferred.
· 2 years of ISO and/or IATF experience preferred.
Required Licenses
· Valid driver's license preferred.

· Skilled in auditing and computer skills.
