MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 10 years' experience in the area of Quality Assurance in a FDA environment as Pharmaceutical, Dietary Supplement, Cosmetics, or Food manufacturing to include a minimum of five years in a Leadership capacity.
Strong working knowledge of cGMP and GLP.

SCOPE:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Supports Sofidel America's Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
2. Assessing processes for their relevance, and assessing the adequacy of engineering equipment.
3. Reviewing existing data to see if more research and information need to be collated.
4. Conducting process development experiments to scale in a laboratory when required.
5. Preparing reports, flow diagrams and charts.
6. Assessing the availability of raw materials and the safety and environmental impact of the plant.
7. Managing the cost and time constraints of projects supplies.
8. Selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors when required.

Must be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance to the Riverside Quality System
Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
Able to work under normal supervision and self-pace as required
Willing to perform basic 5S (housekeeping/organization) steps and maintain the vendor scrap area and vendor scrap work cell
Two years' experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
One year of demonstrated exceptional individual performance, and/or one year of quality assurance/control desired
Must be willing to hold self and others accountable to safety and quality policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
Possess manual dexterity to perform detailed cosmetic repairs to cabinet components by hand
Individual and team-lifting as appropriate
Safely perform stacking and down-stacking of various cabinet components to process and quarantine non-conforming material
A combination of bending, reaching, squatting/stooping, standing and walking for up to nine hours per day
The ability to operate a manual pallet jack
The ability to work safely and wear proper PPE, which includes, but is not limited to: Safety glasses, ear plugs, task-specific gloves, bump cap or hardhat, and steel toed safety shoes
The ability to work in a hot and/or dusty environment
SHIFTS:
1st shift hours: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, You will normally work this shift, however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.

Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent is minimally required
Must be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to actively initiate lead and participate in problem solving activities
Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
