This individual will be responsible for assisting with a project roll out for the quality engineering organization and assist with automating and scaling process across supplier quality, operations, document control, and supply chain. This individual will be responsible for partnering with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of a new system for overall quality management.
Implementing ETQ Reliance as our global eQMS platform to unify, automate, and scale quality processes across Supplier Quality, Operations, Document Control & Training, and Supply Chain.
As the Quality Systems Engineer- QMS Integration, you will play a hands-on role in configuring the system, integrating ETQ with Axon's technology stack, supporting requirements gathering, and enabling end-to-end implementation across different phases of the rollout.
Your work will directly improve our ability to track quality events, streamline supplier processes, drive organizational alignment, and strengthen quality systems globally.
What You'll Do
QMS Configuration & Integration
Configure ETQ workflows, forms, fields, dashboards, and user roles across assigned modules.
Support integration activities between ETQ and ERP, PLM, Supplier Portal, and internal Axon systems.
Assist with data mapping, migration planning, and validation activities.
Troubleshoot configuration or integration issues during testing and rollout.
Requirements & Cross-Functional Support
Work with Quality, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Ops, Supply Chain, QMS and IT to understand requirements and translate them into ETQ configurations.
Participate in VOC workshops to document user needs, workflow expectations, and reporting requirements.
Create process maps, user stories, integration plans, and configuration documentation.
Testing, Rollout & Change Support
Support UAT planning, test case creation, execution, and issue tracking.
Assist in preparing pilot groups, reviewing early user feedback, and refining system workflows.
Contribute to training materials, quick guides, and user onboarding resources.
Provide support during go-live and stabilization periods.
Deployment & System Handoff
Support pilot execution and address configuration issues through stabilization.
Document final workflows, configurations, and integration details for internal QMS ownership.
Prepare handover packages including configuration specs, test scripts, role permissions, and admin guides.
Train QMS functional owners and relevant Axon teams on system operation, workflows, and maintenance.
Ensure ETQ modules are transitioned smoothly to Axon's Quality Systems team for long-term management.
What You Bring
Experience with Quality systems and eQMS software integration/implementation.
Hands-on configuration experience with workflows, forms, fields, dashboards, permissions, and reporting.
Familiarity with core quality processes such as SCAR, PPAP, NC/CAPA, audits, Document Control, risk management, or change management.
Experience supporting system integrations or working with IT on API/middleware-based interfaces.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree at a minimum in Engineering or related technical field.
2-5 years of experience with Quality/ QMS systems and 2-3 years of hands-on experience implementation/integration of eQMS software (ETQ Reliance strongly preferred).
Experience supporting integrations between QMS and ERP/PLM systems (D365, Arena, Windchill, etc.).
Familiarity with workflow design, change control processes, CAPA structures, and supplier quality workflows.
Experience building user acceptance tests (UAT), test cases, and supporting validation activities.
Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations, including forms, fields, workflows, and dashboards.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to document workflows, configuration specifications, and integration details.
Ability to work independently, manage tasks with minimal supervision, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Prior experience in high-growth manufacturing, hardware, aerospace/defense, or other regulated environments.

This position is an experienced QC tech of Aggregate materials with an opportunity for growth within the company. An individual will perform laboratory and field inspections of material production and quality control tests in accordance with established local or state standards for both production and shipping.
