Bristol Compressors

My engagement as CEO & President of Bristol Compressors International and Board Member of Creative Foam recently ended with the sale of the Companies. Bristol Compressors designed and manufactured a broad range of hermetically sealed compressors for the domestic and international HVACR markets. Creative Foam produces components for the wind energy, automotive, and medical industries. Prior I was the acting President EFP Corp., the manufacturer of expanded plastics products and packaging for the healthcare, pharaceutical, food, consumer products, construction, and automotive industries. Previously I was the President & CEO of Durakon Industries for 8 years. My tenure ended when the company was successfully sold to a strategic buyer. Up until that time, Durakon was owned by a private equity company, Littlejohn & Co., LLC. Prior to Durakon I was with Johnson Controls for 14 years assigned to various executive positions as President, Vice President, and General Manager. I have managed private, public, and joint venture companies ranging in sales revenues from $100 million to $1 billion, opened 17 manufacturing plants throughout South and North America, launched a new joint venture company with a Japanese partner, served on 4 Boards, strategically repositioned organizations, involved in turnaround conditions, implemented significant cost controls and reductions through lean practices, operated in both union and non-union environments, been involved in world-wide distribution, and, early in my career, led all engineering, R&D, and quality functions for a company. Regards, Edward Gniewek eagniewek@gmail.com 276/791-2434 (mobile) Specialties: Extensive background in start up companies, turnaround situations, expansion, joint ventures, private equity, etc... Manufacturing experience in all plastic processes, textile conversion, packaging, general maching, distribution, and assembly.
