Job Summary:
Micron is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Incoming Materials Quality Technician to support material verification activities that protect our manufacturing processes and product quality. In this role, you will inspect, test, and validate incoming direct materials to ensure they meet Micron's specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities
* Verify incoming materials for compliance with Micron specifications, inspection plans, and ISO/Quality Management System requirements.
* Review and validate vendor documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), escalating deviations and containing impacted materials as needed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, IQC, Engineering, Production) to investigate and resolve nonconforming material issues.
* Develop and improve inspection processes, testing methods, and quality controls for raw materials to ensure consistent standards.
* Analyze vendor data and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts in alignment with Micron practices.
* Support risk assessments for new materials and suppliers, assisting engineering teams in qualification activities.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date material specifications, quality plans, and procedures while coordinating with global supplier quality partners.
Minimum Requirements:
* Associate degree in a STEM related field (or equivalent trade school/military experience)
* 1+ years of hands-on experience working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment.
* Experienced in navigating and applying SAP functionalities to support business processes.
* 2+ years' experience navigating and applying SAP functionalities to support business processes.

Fry Line

Ensure the control of the physical aspects of the product such as sizing, uniformity, defects, batter pickup, flavor and odor. One or two pounds are weighed from each sample and product is graded as required for selected customer with results recorded in Processing and Finished Product grade sheet.
Packaging room:
Ensure the documented control of the cooling/freezing and packaging process so that previously Fully Cooked Products are cooled/frozen at the required times and temperatures to inhibit the growth of microorganism and preserve the product prior to packaging.
Ensure the elements pertaining to the monitoring and verification of metal detectors are in place so that all finished products are packaged in a safe manner to protect the consumer from potentially harmful metal objects.
Execute other duties as assigned in all areas.

Pay: This position starts at $18 an hour. Additionally there is a 10% shift differential.
Work Shift: This position will support the B shift which is every other Saturday from 6pm - 6am and every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 6pm - 6am.

Supervise work area according with 5´s standards.
Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Visually inspects Sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and using lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.
Keeps supervisors informed and escalates issues when needed.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
A minimum of Middle school certificate is required.
One (1) year of related experience in manufacturing process is required; Two (2) or more years of related experience in the position is preferred.
Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend) and HLA product builds.
Advanced electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards, is preferred.
IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification or equivalent is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
Other Qualifications:
Advanced reading, writing and math skills are required (i.e., 12th grade level)
Inspection skills
Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information
Must complete training for and become certified for Quality Assurance within six months of obtaining the position and must maintain QA certification to remain in the position
Basic PC skills are required (i.e., keyboarding skills, basic mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows/Google Workspace) and familiarity with applicable Plexus software packages
Individual will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
Individual will be required to handle a PCB by turning it, flipping it, and angling it
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for use of computer monitor, keyboard and inspection equipment, and individual must meet the visual acuity requirements

Physical Requirements:
Role will work in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require physical stamina with strong manual dexterity and fine motor control with precise measurement equipment or delicate tools and components requiring a steady touch. Visual inspection may require acute near vision and the ability to work continually using magnifiers, cameras and other vision systems. Role will spend a majority of the time standing and sitting with limited activities including lifting packages, moving material and working around lifting and material movement equipment as needed. Role may include repetitive computer tasks in different types of software creating, editing and saving quality records.
