The Quality Control Receiving Inspector - Second Shift is responsible for performing inspections of incoming materials, parts, hardware, and assemblies to verify compliance with Robinson Helicopter Company's specifications, engineering drawings, and purchase order requirements. The position ensures that only conforming materials are released for production and maintenance use in accordance with FAA Part 21, Part 145, and EASA requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Perform detailed receiving inspections of incoming materials, components, and hardware for conformity to engineering drawings, purchase orders, and applicable specifications. · Verify supplier documentation, including Certificates of Conformance, material test reports, and traceability records, for accuracy and compliance. · Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using calibrated measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators. · Review and validate supplier certifications and special process documentation in accordance with FAA, EASA, and AS9100 standards. · Record inspection results in the company's ERP/Quality Management System. · Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming materials; initiate Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) when required. · Communicate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to resolve supplier quality issues. · Maintain compliance with calibration control procedures and ensure inspection tools are within current calibration prior to use. · Support internal and external audits as required. · Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, maintaining a clean and organized work area. · Perform other related quality inspection duties as assigned by supervision.
