    Job Description Responsible for performing inspections of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness. The Quality Control Inspector may also perform aircraft maintenance (including inspection), preventive maintenance and alteration and assist customers with technical and operational support relative to the customer's aircraft. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Responsible for Quality Assurance for quality and airworthiness and may report to Maintenance Supervision for the assignment of aircraft maintenance tasks. Using technical data acceptable to and/or approved by the FAA, the Quality Control Inspector provides inspection and approval for return to service with respect to work performed. Adheres to general work and safety requirements. May travel to locations other than the Repair Station's fixed location to support customer aircraft. May perform inspections, adjusts and repairs, replace components and corrects any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft. May perform repairs on components removed from the aircraft. May remove and re-install aircraft components to gain access for the performance of assigned tasks. May troubleshoot (fault isolation) aircraft system malfunction. May perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations. Documents, records, and signs for work performed and/or inspected per RSM/QCM. Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervision. May fuel and defuel aircraft. May perform aircraft line services. Performs inspection on-site and at off-site locations. Supports production aircraft under Production Certificate System. Assists other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification. Is familiar with and adheres to the RSM/QCM and applicable regulations. Is responsible for and accountable for work performed. QUALIFICATIONS Possess a Mechanics certificate with Airframe and Power plant ratings. Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and alteration of turbo fan powered business aircraft. Trained in or experience with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to perform aircraft maintenance and alterations. Minimum 5 years' experience working on our Falcon models. Thoroughly familiar with the applicable regulations, the RSM/QCM and proficient in the use of the various inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools appropriate for the work being performed and approved for return to service. Able to work unsupervised for extended periods. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Can Do attitude - highly motivated, Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Position Summary The principal functions of this position are to provide analytical, technical and operational information to the processing and bottling operations. The Lab Technician is in place to perform standard quality analysis, maintain accurate records and to report nonconformance. The Lab Technician will perform duties and tasks to ensure that the quality of the product is maintained and meets established standards. The technician is tasked with performing quality testing and monitoring procedures, relating to product, finished goods as well as bulk/ingredient supplies. Teamwork skills are necessary to support, improve and drive the Quality department of Hiram Walker to the next level. Accountabilities - Conformance to Product Specifications: Analysis of product including proof, weight per gallon, color, brix, pH, methanol, turbidity, obscurations, total soilds, methanol, analytes, and organoleptic evaluation. Record and maintain accurate records of test results. Maintain production samples and reference composite samples. - Conformance of Bulk Ingredients: Analysis on pre-shipments, received flavors, bulk ingredients and finished blends. Verify incoming bulk meets current specification by performing color, brix, pH, Benedict's, and organoleptic evaluation. Record and maintain accurate results. Maintain bulk and flavor reference samples. Report nonconformance to appropriate personnel. - Analysis of Water: Perform prescribed analysis, such as pH, turbidity, organoleptic, chlorine, and conductivity. Record and maintain accurate records. Report any nonconformance to the engineering department. - Quality Management Systems: Updating and documenting new procedures and instruction in regard to laboratory testing and equipment calibration. Responsible for ensuring that Process Quality Assurance is maintaining ISO 9002, 14001, OHSAS 18801, GMP and HACCP records. Utilize CAM as needed to input WO's in order to drive repairs aimed towards improving performance. Support the Pernod Ricard Safety Culture initiative and report any safety risk or concerns to department management. Must follow written PPE requirements and abide by all safety guidelines outlined in procedures and work instructions. Employees are required to report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately. These would include all non-disabling and disabling injuries and occupational illnesses, fatalities, fires, and explosions, property damage, chemical spills, and any incident having the potential for property damage or personal injury. The Quality Inspector will work closely with the Quality Manager, Quality Lead and production teams to uphold Fiber Pad and our customers' quality standards. This role is performed under established guidelines and criteria. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conducts routine inspections of in-process and completed parts for production teams, utilizes manual measuring practices for precise specifications. Verify part to print accuracy for Shipping & Receiving. Complete First Article Inspections and paperwork. Read and understand complex blueprints. Verify stock to engineering revision changes. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Maintain quality systems in accordance with AS9102 standards. Reports on and speak to quality metrics for management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and product quality. Provide training and guidance on quality standards to production staff. Document non-conformances and assist in the development of corrective action plans. Additional duties as needed or assigned by management. Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment. Assist in all phases of housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized to help maintain a neat and tidy work area. Perform other duties as needed or assigned by leadership. Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 1 year of Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Ability to use all measuring tools, read and decipher detailed measurements on blueprints. Ability to read GD&T prints and perform manual measurements frequently to complex specifications. Knowledge of AS9100 Quality System, AS9102 FAI paperwork, First Article Inspection. CMM knowledge strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality management systems. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence when necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS products is a plus Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
