Position Summary: The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all Breitling timepieces leaving the workshop fully meet the job card, brand standards, technical specifications, and customer expectations. This role acts as the final quality control before delivery, confirming that all functional, aesthetic, and customer-specific requirements have been completed accurately and consistently. The position plays a critical role in protecting brand integrity, reducing rework, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive final quality control inspections on mechanical and quartz Breitling watches prior to release.
Verify correct completion of all technical interventions in accordance with Breitling specifications, service guidelines, and quality standards.
Conduct functional checks including (but not limited to): timekeeping performance, power reserve, chronograph operation, calendar functions, and winding/setting performance.
Perform aesthetic inspections including case, bracelet, dial, hands, crystal, crown, pushers, and overall finishing quality.
Confirm water-resistance testing results and documentation.
Ensure all customer-reported issues, service requests, and special instructions have been fully addressed prior to watch release.
Validate accuracy and completeness of service documentation, QC records, and system entries.
Identify discrepancies, incomplete repairs, or quality risks and escalate them promptly to the Workshop Manager or Technical Leader
Adhere strictly to all Breitling policies, procedures, and technical guidelines.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and handling standards for our timepieces.
Promote and uphold Breitling brand values, craftsmanship standards, and customer-centric culture.
Perform additional reasonable duties as required by the Workshop Manager to support workshop operations.
Participate in training, quality initiatives, and audits as required.

Required Education/Experience:
Minimum ten years of experience in maintaining aircraft with verifiable practical experience as an active aircraft mechanic in a maintenance organization.
Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory position in a maintenance organization.
Minimum of ten years of experience in a Part 145 environment.
Must have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of FARs, aircraft technical bulletins, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, aircraft systems, and the ability to communicate this knowledge to the required persons.
Previous Director of Maintenance or Chief Inspector experience preferred.
FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certification or license (A&P)
Must have and maintain a valid driver license and must meet the company's vehicle insurance requirements.
Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
Must pass a background check.
