We are seeking a CEI Senior Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring that the contractor's work on a project is being completed according to project design specifications and FDOT/Client quality standards, including but not limited to the qualitative and quantitative aspects of construction, accurate measurement and payment of work and the proper documentation of all aspects of construction. A CEI Senior Inspector must also be capable of managing lower-level inspectors. This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring product and process quality in accordance with applicable standards and for assisting in the implementation and monitoring of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality inspection within an industrial or marine environment and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities: Conduct in-process and final inspections on mechanical, electrical, and structural components, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Maintain accurate inspection records, nonconformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). Perform receiving inspections of materials and vendor-supplied components. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
