QUALITY INSPECTOR

Celltron, Inc (located in Galena, KS) is a leader in manufacturing high reliability wiring products with high quality and close tolerance configurations for the aerospace, defense and commercial industries. Celltron has grown into an internationally known contract manufacturer of custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for defense, aerospace, and commercial customers.
Quality Inspector is responsible for examining materials for quality, defects, and workmanship.
Responsible for:
Performing both in-process and/or final inspections on wire and cable harnesses in accordance with Celltron documented quality plan and other referenced accept/reject criteria.
Be able to identify/recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution.
Able to identify and provide disposition of nonconforming material per procedure.
Provide traceability of product, material and calibration of products.
Obtain the following required certifications:
IPC J-STD-001 Solder as required
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Acceptability requirement
ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) certification
Accurately record results of inspection and testing results.
Perform additional Quality department duties as assigned or as needed.
Report directly to the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills,
Familiarity with basic inspection tools. (Calipers, scales/rulers, microscopes, form boards, protractor).
Basic knowledge and understanding on how to read blueprints,
Strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations and be able to perform measurement conversions.
Basic computer skills.
Prior cable building experience or manufacturing experience.
Able to manage time and attendance to meet deadlines or production goals.
A willingness to be a positive part of a team to accomplish individual and team goals.

Department: FSQA Quality Assurance Technician Shift: Days Pay: $19-$22 based on experience Performs a variety of quality and/or safety checks to ensure compliance with quality standards, reliability standards, and all specifications. As a Senior Construction Materials and Testing (CMT) Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects. ABOUT THE POSITION
Quality inspector in the Packaging area. Candidate will inspect assemblies and finished product for Aviation, Defense, and Space designs. Must be trained and certified for solder, crimp/harness, polymer, and ESD. Requires inspection using a microscope and some product bench testing.
Responsibilities
Inspect parts, assemblies, and final product for Cell and Battery manufacturing.
Keep accurate records of inspections on product travelers and process logs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
U.S. CPersons
High School Diploma
Complete or hold certifications to the following: NASA Solder inspection, NASA crimp/harness inspection, NASA polymer inspection, ESD. Microsoft Office Computer skills highly desirable.
5 years minimum experience in an inspection or manufacturing capacity in the Defense or Aerospace industry.
