What you will do
Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
How you will do it
Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturer's product line.
Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.
Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
Input, retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
Make minor repairs and programming changes while under the direct authorized supervision.
Complete assigned inspections on time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required
5-10 years documented experience in sprinkler systems
Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.
Willing to travel out of town.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

PAY RANGE: $30.00 - $35.00/Hourly DOE
This position is eligible for a one-time bonus in the amount of $2,000.00 following successful completion of VT, and MT NDT Level II method certifications, and following a minimum of 90 days of employment.
Summary of position: NDT inspector level II will perform VT, MT and PT inspections on surface ship and submarine structure. Required to perform miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

The Production Control/Quality Control Analyst will be responsible to the General Manager for the execution of work site services scheduling via monthly calendars and spreadsheets as well as supporting maintenance documentation operations at Yokohama North Dock.
The Production Control Production Control/Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for daily Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army) data input and scheduling management as directed by the General Manager for maintenance and services of US Army Watercraft and Modular Causeway Systems (MCS) located at WEB- YND, Yokohama, Japan. Watercraft to be maintained include Army Small Tugs, Landing Craft Utility and Modular Causeway Systems and all BII/COEI Subsystems allocated for each craft or MCS system. Summary of position: Responsible for monitoring quality control/assurance requirements of all preservation preformed onboard commercial and US Navy vessel in accordance with established Navy regulations and industry standards or specific contractual requirements as defined in the Scope of Work. Collaborate with customer QA personnel on necessary aspects of the job.
Essential Job Requirements: Produce/create electronic/handwritten Quality Assurance documentation as Objective Quality Evidence for work performed throughout the preservation process. Develop and Maintain Test and Inspection Plan (TIP) for all assigned jobs. Monitor and document all required readings with regard to, but not limited to, metal anchor tooth (profile), paint wet/dry film thickness (DFT), steel temperatures and all required environmental readings using appropriate equipment to include: micrometer, dry film thickness gauge, infrared thermometer, psychomotor. Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained in good working order with within all calibration certification intervals. All of the above requirements shall be completed in a safe and efficient manner so as not to cause injury to self or others.
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Required Certification: NACE Inspector and/or SSPC NBPI required.
Required Experience: Formal or informal on-the-job training in the marine industry; familiarity with Navy and Society for Protective Coatings standards.
Required Skills: Must possess knowledge of Maritime paintings standards with particular emphasis in US Navy ship preservation criterion. Word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database computer skills required. Must be able to accomplish mathematical calculations associated with preservation readings and documentation; must be able to discern and carry out complex written, oral, or diagramed instructions. Summary of Primary Functions: Conducts pre-pour and post-pour inspections to ensure that concrete members achieve tolerances as required by shop cards and PCI. Performs concrete testing, witnesses stressing, and establishes adequate curing controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
Inspect bed set-up according to shop drawings for proper size and placement of all reinforcement, including strands, plate location, all structural connections.
Note any nonconforming items and notify proper personnel to bring product into conformance.
Perform concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28 day cylinders.
Set-up steam clocks to insure proper curing temperature.
Monitor finishing procedures in finishing shed.
Inspect final products, note any nonconformance's and notify the Engineering Department for approval or repair work order. All conforming products receive a green tag, all nonconforming products requiring engineering approval receive a red tag.
Check red tagged members after they are repaired to insure that they conform to Engineering's requirements.
All non-conformances for engineering approval are to be drawn up and submitted in writing.
