How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
This position's primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and fix routine quality and warranty issues with Marley Products in the field to improve response time and customer satisfaction. This position will link plant quality with customer experience. In addition to being Marley's field service presence, this position will be located at the Olathe plant and be an integral part of the plant's in-house quality team. This position will spend roughly 50-75% of the time in the field supporting customers. This employee must be able to diagnose routine quality issues in the field, communicate the plan to fix and implement the solution in the field. Furthermore, this individual must be able to capture field fixes and translate them back to production to eliminate these from happening again. When not in the field, this person will be a valued member of the quality team performing audits, implementing fixes and ensuring only quality products leave the plants. The successful incumbent acts in a professional manner striving to meet or exceed customer expectations for quality, professional and efficient service.

Required Experience
Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field or 8-10 years of relevant experience

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively manage work, time and customer expectations

Check components/finished good per ISO procedures to ensure quality of production using various inspection equipment. Perform color matches of components if required.
Verify dimensions of parts. Verify internal assembly and alignment of parts according to specifications.
Test functional performance of components/finished products under specified instructions.
Compare results with specifications and record test data. Analyze test results on defective units to determine extent of failure. Confer with production personnel regarding testing and results.
Input of data to the Certificate of Analysis, Excel database
Read work order and verify correct/incorrect materials in area. Notify materials handlers to have removed as necessary.
Calibrate test instruments according to specifications.
Assist in training new hires

The Quality Control Inspector works at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS. The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. Basic Qualifications:
