Job Overview The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials are received accurately and routed to the appropriate departments. This position involves verifying that materials match orders, inspecting for defects or damages, and maintaining the organization of the workspace. You will play a key role in maintaining quality and ensuring that our operations run smoothly. Responsibilities Ensure all products are properly packaged, labeled, and lot controlled. Verify products against purchase orders or packing slips for accuracy. Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures. Maintain ISO standards of the products and ensure that there is proper handling of inspection tools. Maintain the QA incoming and first article database. Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures. Operates all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and as documented in procedures. Develop and maintain company inspection reports through the manufacturing process. Receive inventory records, process of receiving inspection documents and all other applicable documentation in coordination with the QA department. Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor. Manage non-conforming components, ensuring relevant departments are informed and assisting in final resolution. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Prepare non-conformance reports, as necessary. May prepare and submit change requests. Documents non-conformances in Non-Conforming Material Review system. May train other Inspectors.
