Ingredion is hiring a Pharmaceutical Quality Control Lead to act as a key resource by ensuring timely and accurate analytical services and technical support to both internal and external customers for testing of an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API). Responsible for maintaining all API laboratory instrumentation in calibration and working order. This position also ensure compliance with other plant policies including Safety, Regulatory, Data Integrity, GMP, etc.
As a Pharmaceutical Quality Control Lead, your responsibilities will include:
Keeping work area clean and maintaining a safe work environment.Performing analytical testing of USP and NF products to their respective monographs. Testing samples are to be collected and tested timely and stored as required.Providing ongoing API technical support to all shift laboratory technicians.Responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and trouble-shooting of API laboratory instrumentation including FTIR, Atomic Absorption (AA), and HPLC.Ordering laboratory supplies including instrumentation, chemicals, glassware and various testing supplies. Evaluating suppliers for cooperation, timeliness in response and competitive pricing. Maintaining complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with Company policy and record keeping procedure and ensuring all laboratory data is accurate and reliable. Analyzing, evaluating and providing recommendations on the API laboratory procedures.Performing method and instrumentation validations as necessary maintaining the validated state of the laboratory.Updating and creating new procedures as needed.Providing back-up coverage for technician testing of both in-process and final product Aiding in API laboratory Out of Specification (OOS) investigations to ensure that the investigations are thorough, timely, unbiased, well-documented, and scientifically sound and inline with FDA's guidance for OOS investigations. Conducting and/or implementing any necessary Corrective Action to prevent reoccurrence Performing other work as assigned by laboratory management.Providing weekend/holiday laboratory coverage as needed.

Data Quality Issue Management Lead

The Data Quality issues management lead is an important role within the Data quality Management team. This experienced incumbent will lead forums with key business and technical stakeholders to document, assess and remediate data quality issues. Matrix management of resources to address complex issues, to optimize the efficiency and data issues being documented, resolve data quality issues/problems, and collaborate with database developers to improve functional and non-functional design of a proprietary workflow application. This collaborative leader will work across ICDAD Data Management Executives, Local Data Officers, Data Stewards and Data Owners to support the data Quality issues management within ICDAD. This specialized role undertakes and conducts Data Quality Issue Management (DQIM) activities leading the support of documentation, analysis and remediation of Data Quality (DQ) Issues and Data Quality Excpetion Issues. This role will suppport the overall Data Quality Framework within the Data Governance program. The incumbent will work with the key business and technical stakeholders to ensure adherence to the DQIM Standard to utilize an SMBC propretary workflow application as the central repository in support of the Americas Division. Lead communication of DQ Issue governance across the Americas Division with both business and technology partners
• Lead evolution of Data Quality Issue Management tool based on Stakeholder feedback
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Domain Executives (EDME) on prioritization and resolution of DQ Issues
• Ensure adherence to Data Quality Issue Management Standard
• Partner with IT / JRIA to continuous enhance DQIM application
• Lead prioritization and production deployennt of DQIM releases while communcating to key stakeholders
