Our client is seeking an experienced Safety & Quality Manager to lead plant-wide initiatives that ensure safe operations, high-quality output, and strong process discipline. This role plays a critical part in shaping a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive risk reduction across the facility.
You will partner closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to strengthen safety behaviors, reduce operational risks, and reinforce quality standards throughout all stages of manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
Champion a safety-first culture through coaching, training, and daily engagement with floor teams.
Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory safety expectations.
Lead or support emergency preparedness planning, safety observations, and behavior-based safety initiatives.
Quality Management
Oversee plant-level quality systems, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor product quality trends, customer feedback, and internal data to proactively address quality risks.
Lead root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process control, testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
Drive waste reduction, defect reduction, and efficiency improvement efforts across operations.
Facilitate structured problem-solving activities (e.g., root cause analysis, process stabilization).
Support team members through coaching and development to enhance quality and safety performance.
Lean experience is a plus.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with supervisors and operators to ensure consistent adherence to plant policies and quality/safety expectations.
Provide training on safety practices, quality procedures, and operational standards.
Contribute to daily production meetings, audits, and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
Background in safety, quality, or combined operational roles with demonstrated leadership on the plant floor.
Familiarity with regulatory or industry compliance requirements.
Strong communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.

Manages personnel for in-process filling and inspection/packaging monitoring
Provide QA oversight of Operation for the entire Manufacturing process, supporting Clean room technicians and production technicians as needed to identify and address product quality compliance issues as they arise.
Provide training and assistance to all Clean room and operation personnel for NCR, CAPA and Change Control.
Provides QA review and approval of manufacturing investigations assuring timely review, follow-up, tracking and trending of MIRs. Perform Root Cause analysis and assure corrective action (CAPA) implementation associated with manufacturing investigations. Provide guidance to the investigation scientists on reporting and metrics required for different levels within organization.
Performs QA review and approval of LIR's (Laboratory Investigation Reports).
Reviews and approves SOPs, Job-Aids, Specifications, FMEA documents, Change Controls and Validation documents (Protocols, GTR's, Commissioning Documents, FAT's), engineering documents.
Establish a qualification and Requalification program for Clean Room Certification and Recertification, for ISO 5 and 7 environments.
Develop and implement Quality Systems Improvements through participation in cross functional teams. Performs and/or assures cGMP and technical training for and certification of staff.
Assists the QA management in developing on department budget.
Attends interdepartmental meetings representing Quality Assurance and makes sound quality decisions.
Manages attendance records for all direct reports.

Compensation:
Base Salary: $92,850 to $158,450 annually. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Full-time hourly associates receive a bi-annual grant of Paid Time Off ("PTO") in each January and July based on their service date and scheduled hours, whereas newly hired full time hourly associates in their first year of employment receive a prorated PTO grant on their 61st day of employment based on the month of hire and scheduled hours. Associates will receive a payout of any unused PTO, up to 40 hours, paid out in the next calendar year (except associates in Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana and Nebraska who are paid for all unused PTO). Additionally, hourly associates (except those in California) generally receive 72 hours of Paid Sick Leave Plus ("PSL+") per calendar year, with a pro-rated grant in the associate's first year of employment to the extent allowed by applicable law. If additional PSL+ is required in a particular jurisdiction, the company with comply with applicable law. Unused PSL+ does not carry over from one calendar year to the next unless required by applicable law. Instead of PSL+, hourly associates in California receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.

Compensation & Benefits
* Sign-On Payment Eligibility: $250-$1,000 after signing the PEP agreement, based on a 120-day timeline for successful completion of company sponsored required FINRA licenses and registrations.
* Base Salary: After successfully completing PEP, you will be eligible to become a 20th Edition RBG financial professional. Equitable Advisors supports you with an annual salary ($24,000) as a 20th Edition RBG financial professional.
* Commissions and Bonus: In addition to an annual salary, RBG financial professionals are eligible to earn commissions and bonus.
* Benefits Eligibility: Eligible financial professionals can participate in our comprehensive benefits programs including health, dental and vision, 401(k); Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP); disability; life Insurance; and Transportation Reimbursement Incentive Program (TRIP), each subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable program, as may be in effect from time to time.
