Oversee and lead food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance programs at SK Food Group operational sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Facility designee for SQF Practitioner and PQCI.
Implement, lead and drive a food safety and quality culture for the assigned facility. Lead HACCP/Food Safety/Quality teams.
Develop, manage and maintain the food safety and quality assurance programs including but not limited to: SQF, HACCP/Food Safety Plan (s), SOP's, SSOP's, and Pre-Requisite programs, sanitation verification (pre-operational inspection) and customer specific requirements.
Lead and manage 3rd party audits, GFSI Certification Audits (SQF Food Safety and Quality), and customer audits.
Oversee environmental microbiological sampling program, and ensure it meets all corporate, customer, and regulatory requirements (USDA and FDA).
Administer training and oversee competency performance of personnel in the Quality Assurance Department.
Manage specified customer product cutting process for compliance with customer specifications.
Oversee Quality and Food Safety Monitoring activities for program and regulatory compliance.
Execute SQF plan to maintain Food Safety and Quality certification. Serve as primary site contact for SQF, federal, state, or county audits. Manage all aspects of the 3rd party audit process including correspondence and corrective actions.
Ensure SK Food Group meets or exceeds all regulatory compliance obligations (FDA, USDA, State, labeling, weights and measures, etc.). Actively communicate with on-site USDA inspectors to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Manage the “Hold and Release” programs including physical inventory and virtual Inventory through the ERP system.
Work closely with R&D, Commercialization and Corporate Food Safety Quality Manager on all pilot runs to include data collection and analysis, MPS (manufacturing processing specification) development and Finished Good specification development.
Execute daily sanitation verification of pre-operational inspection and production floor release.
Execute trace exercises of product flow functionality within the ERP System (Sage X3). Ability to account and submit all required mock recall documentation to corporate QA leadership.
Execute QA (Plant level) functionality within the ERP System (Sage X3).
Manage 3rd party pest control firm.
Manage departmental budget.
Oversee the supplier non-conformance supplier program at the plant facility level.
Manage investigations, responses and corrective actions for plant quality complaints.
Recommend capital expenditures for food safety and quality assurance improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Quality Management, Microbiology (or equivalent/related field) and at least sixyears of related experience and/or training in a food or food related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SQF Practitioner
HACCP certification
PCQI (FSMA) certification
Strong skills in communication, problem solving, decision-making, prioritizing work, and organization.
Experience with leading SQF audits.
Ability to motivate and lead a team.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Working experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Supports Site Safety to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety procedures, requirements and goals.
+ Monitors project quality costs including resources while working to better as-bid budgets. Provides feedback to optimize project billing returns, risk reporting and testing accuracy, while protecting Walsh from claim exposure. Monitors and reports rework costs via QIR system.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ AEC Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent related field experience with International Code Counsel, NICET, etc. Current certification required
+ USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred but not required
+ Industry certifications for testing and inspection as required to review and certify that the test, inspection, and procedures satisfy requirements
+ Limited travel for projects as necessary

The **Nuclear Project Quality Manager** is responsible for managing the nuclear project quality management plan to fulfill the implementation of the Design-Build quality management system. The Nuclear Project Quality Manager is also accountable for ensuring that project quality resources are properly assigned, that personnel with the proper expertise are trained and available, and that quality procedures are in place to support successful execution of a nuclear project. The Nuclear Project Quality Manager has the authority within the project to allocate assigned resources and make quality program execution decisions within the bounds set by applicable nuclear policies, manuals, procedures, and contractual commitments. Acts as the quality interface on project teams with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Commisioning, Project Management, corporate offices and clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitors and ensures nuclear project adherence to regulatory requirements, division, nuclear organization, and corporate policies and procedures, and alignment with company goals and objectives; monitors and reports to nuclear project leadership on effective implementation.
- Establishes, implements and maintains project quality program
- Coordinates with project management, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory representatives and field to ensure that work is done correctly
- Assures Design-Build project work meets applicable codes and specifications
- Develop and administer the Project Quality Program
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Project Quality Plans
- Responsible for initiating periodic management reviews, at least annually
- Responsible for preparing internal and external Quality Audit Plans
- Responsible for approving and signing off on actions taken to close-out Non-Conformance Reports
- Responsible for oversight and management decisions of the Design-Build Corrective Action Program
