SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
The primary purpose and function of the Director Veterinary Quality is to ensure care delivered in market assigned hospitals meet industry and Banfield quality standards. This position partners with Vice Presidents Veterinary Quality and Area Chiefs of Staff ensuring execution of veterinary initiatives. The Director of Veterinary Quality serves as a champion for quality by communicating, demonstrating and driving a culture that is consistent with our five principles and our 6 domains (safe, effective, patient/client centered, timely, efficient, and equitable) at the market level to optimize results in improved medical care, a better client experience, increased associate engagement and better hospital performance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
+ Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
+ In partnership with the ACOS, drive a successful and growing doctor team through recruiting, gathering referrals, and hiring.
+ Ensure the delivery of an exceptional onboarding and mentorship experience. Consult with operational partners on doctor risk, staffing needs and compensation.
+ Develop and lead the Area Chiefs of Staff (ACOS) to ensure care delivered in our hospitals meets industry, regulatory, and Banfield quality standards.
+ Drive market performance to deliver outstanding, high quality medical care that aligns with the six domains of quality (safe, effective, patient/client centered, timely, efficient and equitable care) and meets practice OGSMs related to the delivery of care and quality KPIs.
+ Oversee implementation and auditing of medical quality programs, ensuring adoption to help drive success, and consulting with field and hospital leaders as appropriate.
+ Work with Field Directors & Hospital Leaders to oversee the safety of clients, associates and pets by ensuring hospitals comply with all safety procedures and regulations
+ Work with Field Directors & Hospital Leaders to ensure hospital operations meet all local, state and federal regulations.
+ Lead efforts for DEA and radiation safety and compliance.
+ Travel to assigned markets and perform regular hospital visits to assess and validate the delivery of care and performance of ACOS and veterinary provider teams.
+ Develop productive relationships with veterinary medical colleges to meet the long-term recruiting needs for the practice, partnering with (or serving as) University Liaison and Central Team Support as needed to deliver on these plans.
+ Manage the market level medical equipment budget and oversee maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.
+ Actively participate in local, state, and national veterinary organizations to cultivate relationships within the veterinary profession (i.e., regulatory boards, vendors, associations, and referral hospitals) to promote a positive image of the practice and Banfield's brand reputation.
+ Other job duties as assigned.
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
+ Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
+ Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.

+ Two years' experience in hospital leadership.
+ Five years' experience in multi-location veterinary management.
+ An active veterinary license in good standing is required for every state in which they oversee hospitals.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support federal government construction projects in the Columbus, GA area. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan in accordance with USACE and DoD requirements
Conduct and document the Three-Phase Control Process: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up Inspections
Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation for compliance with contract specifications
Perform daily quality control inspections across all phases of construction including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP work
Prepare and submit daily QC reports, inspection logs, deficiency tracking, and corrective action documentation
Coordinate and lead preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and quality coordination meetings
Interface directly with Government QA personnel and participate in inspections, audits, and site walks
Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards
Track deficiencies, oversee corrective actions, and verify closeout compliance
Support project closeout activities including punch lists, as-builts, and final inspections
What We're Looking For

What You Will Do:
Would be the primary quality interface for customers and suppliers for all High Temperature Composites programs (HTC)
Ensure the HTC program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements, will create the quality plan for each HTC customer/program and work on the compliance matrix.
Coordinating with Engineering, VSL and overseeing contracts through all program Lifecycle phases, from design to production and sustainment.
Develop and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives for HTC.
Certified DSQR for External HTC customers
Work with supplier quality to validate acceptability of supply chain approach and integrate new vendors, as applicable
Work with Engineering to draft new process specification and inspection criterion, as necessary
Work with procurement on quality notes/requirements for purchase orders
Works closely with Engineering and VSL to enforce process maturity, transition to production activities, and Conduct Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), gage R&R and Control plan.
Work with operation on First Article Inspection, and Quality Control Plan efforts and play a key role on submitting MRB and FAI to customers.
The PQE will work as part of the QA Team, conducting day to day Quality Assurance activities for HTC at the same time as engaging with key stakeholders across the organization (contracts, buyers, production control and operation)
The PQE will engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers
The PQE will review and approve changes to the technical data packages (ES), drawings, operation documents and assign actions when necessary.
Support cross-functional team in, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure. Implement projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving
Support quality investigations related to production deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
Will be required to implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in accordance with AS9145 and AS13100 (P&W)
Travel may be required up to 30%
