Qualifications
* Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
* Effective supervisory / leadership skills are required.
* Fundamental knowledge and application of state-of-the-art inspection and quality assurance techniques, procedures, instruments, equipment, theories, principles and concepts and general business operations; as well as those in Manufacturing Production.
* Level 2 certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection. Eventual Level 2 certification Radiographic Inspection, to an agreed upon schedule after starting this position.

What You Will Do

Who We Are Looking For:

Qualifications
Education/Knowledge:
Professional Engineering Licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required. A candidate who can obtain a license within three months may be considered.
Knowledge of Virginia Department of Transportation's (DOT) specifications, standards, and construction expectations with an emphasis on design-build requirements, including but not limited to contract management, contract administration, and quality assurance/quality control, is strongly preferred. Similar state or federal DOT design-build experience will be considered.
Knowledge of engineering principles of construction management and project controls.
Knowledge of one or more of the following services: critical path method scheduling, cost estimating, project budgeting, delay analysis, constructibility and design review, inspections, quantity take-offs.

Translate quality objectives (KPIs) into floor-level routines that promote compliance and accountability.
Coach department leads and supervisors on process quality improvement methods and GMPs.
Contribute to special plant projects with Corporate Quality Assurance and maintain continuous communication with all Ardagh Metal Packaging plants.
Work closely with Human Resources to address and resolve personnel issues; directly supervise plant personnel (scope varies by location).

What You Will Do:
* Responsible for the post sale technical support and project success for VRV/VRF
* Executes pre-construction kick off meetings, periodic site visits and start-up or start-up assistance for VRV/VRF projects.
* Hosts formal installation, commissioning, and maintenance training classes.
* Provides informal training in the field to installing contractors.
* Able to troubleshoot VRV/ductless systems during installation, start up and warranty process.

* Solves warranty related issues after jobs are started in a timely manner.
* Maintains a close relationship tech support with the OEM/manufacturer of the equipment.

Job Overview
The Supervisor, Quality Assurance (QA) will lead and develop assigned quality personnel and provide guidance for cross-functional teams to support the quality and food safety requirements of the products produced and shipped from their location. This role also supports and enforces the certification, regulatory, customer, and brand requirements as outlined by the business and implements continuous improvement projects to meet these requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise, lead, and motivate a team on the manufacturing floor and QA Lab to deliver results by communicating company goals; including quality and customer satisfaction, safety practices, and deadlines
Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training
Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
Manage and support the Consolidated Management System (CMS) program that ensures company quality assurance specifications, and regulatory requirements are met; understand and support the documentation, training, and organizational requirements for maintaining a globally recognized quality and food safety certification; serve as the program owner, and perform internal audits of the program elements
Manage the processing of laboratory data, monitor the data for accuracy through exception reporting, analyze the data, recognize unfavorable trends, and makes process improvement recommendations
Support and assist in audits from internal and external regulatory, certification, customer, and or brand owner sources

1. Inspect molded parts for acceptable quality according to production and medical standards.
2. Identify and Isolate non-Conforming or suspect product including visual and dimensional features. Create MRBs for non-conforming material per documented procedure.
3. Collect a sample or samples representing the typical non-conformity of production that is being placed on MRB and place in bin for the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer.
4. Use Go/No Go gauges to measure parts and determine acceptability
5. Strong computer skills.
6. Monitor product at production area and packaging station including verification of count, packaging, and labeling.
7. Train and assist Operators with any visual inspections.
8. Work with Production Managers, Quality Manager, Quality Engineers and Shift Supervisors to monitor scrap to minimize production waste.
9. Complete daily activities on shift reports when necessary.
10. Have the ability to move fluently to perform visual inspections, and audit product.
11. Verifies packaging and label information prior to disposition of the product.
