Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership · Own, maintain, and continuously improve the company's ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System. · Serve as the Management Representative to certification bodies, customers, and auditors. · Administer document control and change management processes, including oversight of the QMS SharePoint site. · Lead integration of acquired organizations or new programs into the existing QMS. · Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement · Define, track, and report quality KPIs such as first-pass yield, defect trends, audit results, and customer returns. · Conduct deep-dive analyses on systemic quality issues and implement preventive solutions. · Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency. · Promote a culture of accountability, compliance awareness, and continuous improvement. Customer & Cross-Functional Engagement · Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and escalations. · Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle-from design through shipment. · Ensure timely communication, investigation, and resolution of customer quality issues.
