These processes include but are not limited to receiving inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, first article inspection (FAI), internal auditing, CAPA and feedback to management. The Quality Manager is detail oriented, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement and teamwork. This position is senior to the Quality Supervisor position and oversees all Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions and processes for the site. This position focuses on process improvement, direct collaboration with the customer and related requirements, supporting internal and external audits and data collection and reporting. Essential Functions: Improvement Reviews specifications, standards and/or test plans of customer designs, and reports feedback to operational management. Reviews, implements, and follows up with corrective action requests derived from customer complaints, customer returns, and/or actions as assigned. Drive corrective action, and inspection of all program hardware (to J-STD001 and IPC610 Class 3) and documentation and supplier quality improvements. + Analyze and resolve customer complaints and field reliability issues. + Manage in-house program audits and corrective action program in support of AS9100 (Aerospace Standard) certification. + Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate current process and process changes. + Lead both Customer Source and Government Source Inspections and provide customers all required documentation. + Ensure proper documentation via NCMR's of all quality write ups, ensuring all NCMR's are properly filled out and addressed prior to hardware moving forward. + Assist Manufacturing Engineering in FAR (Failure Analysis Reports) to ensure all failures are properly documented and full corrective action is followed through and documented. + Ensure all hardware and documentation is in compliance with approved drawings and designs. + Assist and take a lead role in driving to completion of FAIR's as required in accordance with AS9102. + Drive Material Review Board meetings where applicable. **Minimum Qualifications:** + 4+ years experience as Quality, Manufacturing Engineer preferably in a Mil-Spec manufacturing environment. + Bachelor's degree required. + ASQ and CQE preferred. + Experience with statistical tools including MTBE calculations. Familiarity with Minitab is a plus. + Familiar with Hybrid manufacturing methods including IPC610 and J-STD001. + APQP experience and AS9145 knowledge nice to have + **Eligibility Requirement:** This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
