This position is in Brownsville, TX at the RGLNG site. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as Owner's representative and subject matter expert (SME) for LNG Tanks. Maintain complete accountability for quality oversight of the LNG Tanks, including, but not limited to, the construction, commissioning, initial cool down and start-up. This includes all civil, mechanical (rotating and piping), electrical and controls. Ensure the EPC contractor and subcontractors deliver the LNG Tanks in accordance withlocal, Federal (e.g., FERC) requirements, RGLNG Project specifications and contractual requirements. Possess complete understanding of, and act as technical authority for LNG Tank specifications, codes, and standards. Monitor day-to-day quality activities, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), inspection reports, surveillance data, inspection packages, mechanical completion, system handover and documentation turnover, for accuracy, compliance and completeness. Ensure welding processes (particularly for 9% Ni steel) comply with contractual requirements, including oversight of personnel performing welding and testing. Witness and review critical inspection NDE tests (hydro, vacuum box testing, RT, UT, tank settlement monitoring, concrete formwork pours and compression testing, etc.) Verify installation of insulation, heat tracing, tensioning cables, deluge systems, etc. are performed in accordance with project specifications. Review contractor's inspection and surveillance reports. Provide feedback as necessary to ensure compliance with specification requirements. Support EPC contractor by identifying Non-conformances (NCR's), collaborate on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports, and identify potential Corrective Action Reports (CARs) during systemic issues. Verify that any of these are properly documented, proposed resolutions implemented and closed. Ensure efficient communication with the EPC Contractor, operational and functional support team members. Job Summary: The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for assessing and reporting on the quality of all vegetables received, in inventory and shipped from the facility. This position will ensure that all products shipped meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements. The Quality Control Supervisor oversees trains and schedules the team of quality inspectors. Responsibilities: Provide leadership to the quality team with respect to performance management, scheduling, employee relations, awareness of business context/profitability as well as training/development of staff members. Ensure delivery of the quality team's goals and objectives by establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff members to apply; plan, assign and supervise day-to-day tasks. Communicate and address quality related non-conformances, issues and concerns with relevant departments to help identify the causes and implement sustainable corrective action. Initiate and promote the development of quality related processes, root cause analysis, control charts, with the intent to improve delivery of product quality. Plan, assign and supervise day to day tasks for Quality Control team. Actively support efforts to achieve and maintain food safety and quality certifications. Perform quality inspection of all incoming products and supervise team responsibilities for both transfers and purchases. Liaise with commodities, sales, shipping, production and food safety departments concerning any quality issues for inbound and outbound products. Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information. Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity, quality, delivery and budget objectives are met. Train staff and monitor employee performance and progress. Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness and physical security of the work environment. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information. Complete end of shift reports. Other core expectations as defined by the company. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Quality Assurance, Food Safety or related discipline preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' quality assurance or food safety experience required; produce industry preferred. Proven understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP principals and the PrimusGFS program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required; ERP software, FAMOUS preferred. Strong knowledge of legislative requirements to maintain compliance with all relevant statues and guiding principles. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills. Commitment to high professional and ethical standards Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; possess a strong attention to detail. Must be flexible to shift assignments as required to meet both customer & business needs. Work Environment: Hours of work may vary depending on business needs This job operates in a clerical, office setting, in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; the employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods is required. Role frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, use hands to handle or feel product or packaging, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to regularly lift 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50-pounds.
