    is 100% onsite at our office in Ames, Iowa. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. We are seeking an Associate Quality Assurance Technician. In this role, you will perform basic testing on new and existing software products, identify and document defects, and support the QA team in ensuring product quality. You will also assist senior team members with moderately complex tasks, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to advanced quality assurance processes. What You Will Do Respond to direction and guidance as part of an apprenticeship to a senior team member Establish a high level of code quality by executing test cases at the acceptance testing level as part of the functional testing or regression testing of the product Record defects found and provide sufficient information for the resolution of those defects Assist user documentation and technical support by assembling and providing concise and accurate information in regards to software functionality Maintain a basic knowledge and stay current with trends associated with software testing and quality assurance Attend all meetings necessary for the seamless delivery of the product as part of the Software Development Life Cycle Travel/Physical Demands Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. Assist with supplier quality activities, including incoming inspection, supplier issue documentation, and communication of quality concerns.
