Providing exceptional customer service to include answering the phones, document orders, select appropriate products, pack, ship, and receive blood products to and from customers in Alaska and the lower 48. This often requires working with couriers or airlines.

+ Performs Ramp Safety Inspections to ensure employees are working in a safe manner, while following company and customer policies and procedures.

General Summary
This position is responsible for management of the laboratory, lab testing, and supervising lab and field technicians. This position oversees all quality control procedures and is responsible for maintaining all laboratory accreditation programs (AMRL, ASTM, and State). This position performs some sampling, testing, and inspection of construction materials in either a laboratory or field setting.
Essential Job Accountabilities
* Supervise technical staff job performance to ensure optimum use of resources with emphasis on work schedules. Exercise discretion in evaluating job performance and determining appropriate corrective action. Analyze workflow, establish priorities, and delegate tasks to technical staff in order to meet deadlines.
* Conduct interviews and performance evaluations. Provide management with recommendations for technician annual compensation increases.
* Train technicians on sampling, testing, and inspection of construction materials to prepare them for additional certification.
* Review and analyze sampling, testing, inspection and design results to both ensure quality standards are met including QC/QA projects and as a basis for overseeing technician job performance.
* Oversee production personnel to ensure material process corrections are implemented.
* Exercise discretion in evaluating and responding to customer service issues in order to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained.
* Responsible for all facets of national accreditations (AMRL, ASTM), including meeting accreditation deadlines, identifying and exercising discretion in correcting lab deficiencies, maintaining laboratory standards, completing accreditation materials and coordinating facility and equipment maintenance.
