Perform weekly tasks which include environmental swabbing air plates, thermometer and lab equipment calibration, and others.
Perform noon and midnight inventory and temperature of fluid silos.
Support monitoring wastewater, pH, EC, and COD.
Micro plating, antibiotic confirmation testing, and TA testing.
Daily send outs to Sunrise Labs and Sierra for testing.
Pull customer samples and re-test samples.
Clean and maintain clean lab areas.
Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.
Complete all filing of documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Follow all Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Follow all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Responsible for care and maintenance of company tools laboratory equipment.
Updating quality and procedure manuals, calibrations, wastewater reports, swabbing, and air quality monitoring.
Take inventory of lab supplies and submit orders.
Verify product codes meet internal and customer standards.
Participate in production safety and quality alert routine.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Chlorine Technician will be responsible for monitoring chlorine/pH systems throughout the shift to ensure they remain within specification. Make adjustments as needed based on system performance or when contacted by operations.
Monitor chlorine and pH levels in all relevant systems throughout the shift to ensure compliance with established specifications and safety standards.
Perform routine inspections of chlorine injection and control systems to identify any irregularities or potential issues.
Adjust chlorine and pH dosing equipment as needed to maintain proper chemical balance, based on real-time system performance or operational needs.
Respond promptly to requests from operations chlorine technicians regarding chemical adjustments or troubleshooting assistance.

Assist with troubleshooting system alarms or malfunctions, coordinating with water department, maintenance or operations personnel as needed.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of chlorine and related chemicals in accordance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.

The Quality Control Lead will assist and monitor production and product quality to ensure all products meet the established specifications. The Quality Control Lead will assist QC Supervisor in performing the development, maintenance and implementation of the quality systems and food safety programs. The Quality Control Lead will assist and monitor production and product quality to ensure all products meet the established specifications. The Quality Control Lead will assist QC Supervisor in performing the development, maintenance and implementation of the quality systems and food safety programs. Will provide support and direction to Quality Control Technicians.
JOB DUTIES:
Train and review of methodologies, SOP's, performance and techniques of QC personnel by working with QC supervisors including calibration of equipment to assure accuracy and repeatability of test results
Responsible for preparing and shipping samples to customers
Ensure all analytical and production check frequencies are being met
Monitor compliance to specifications, methods, and procedures, GMP, HACCP and food safety programs through records review

Monitor quality and status of products in inventory

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Chlorine Technician will be responsible for monitoring chlorine/pH systems throughout the shift to ensure they remain within specification. Make adjustments as needed based on system performance or when contacted by operations.
Monitor chlorine and pH levels in all relevant systems throughout the shift to ensure compliance with established specifications and safety standards.
Perform routine inspections of chlorine injection and control systems to identify any irregularities or potential issues.
Adjust chlorine and pH dosing equipment as needed to maintain proper chemical balance, based on real-time system performance or operational needs.
Respond promptly to requests from operations chlorine technicians regarding chemical adjustments or troubleshooting assistance.
Document all monitoring data, adjustments, and communications in logs or electronic systems for regulatory and operational records.
Assist with troubleshooting system alarms or malfunctions, coordinating with water department, maintenance or operations personnel as needed.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of chlorine and related chemicals in accordance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Conduct routine calibration checks on chemical sensors and monitoring equipment to ensure accurate reading.
Participate in shift handovers, clearly communicating any issues, adjustments made, or items requiring follow-up.
Report any deviations from normal operating conditions to supervisors or lead technicians in a timely manner.
