General responsibilities include assembling, filling, labeling, and kitting small light-weight products in a manufacturing laboratory environment. The position will also assist with order picking, packing and warehousing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor automated fill/finish and auto-fill line equipment to ensure accurate dispensing, consistent output, and adherence to production specifications.
Conduct in-process inspections (e.g., fill volume, labeling, packaging) and escalate any deviations or equipment irregularities.
Set up, calibrate, and maintain auto-fill lines, including performing routine preventive maintenance and resolving mechanical or control-system issues to minimize downtime.
Performing Manual tasks such as bottle filling and device assembly, pouching, labeling, and kitting.
Adhere to and accurately complete production documentation.
Perform set-ups, changeovers, and cleanups of work areas.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Assistance with warehouse order picking, packing, and general warehousing.
Required Skills:
Experience operating or supporting automated production, fill/finish, or packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment setup (change parts, calibrations, line adjustments).
Comprehensive understanding of basic scientific principles and biotech manufacturing processes.

Job Description
Summary/Objective:
The Technical Service/Quality Control Technician implements and complies with quality assurance methods and procedures to ensure products and materials are produced in accordance with specifications.
Essential Functions:
Perform specimen tests of concrete from random loads or for special jobs or mixes; prepare test reports as required.
Oversee unique jobs to ensure product standards are met, i.e., jobs that have restrictive specifications or require large quantities of material to be delivered.
Perform aggregates and batch plants tests including daily graduation and moisture tests on all concrete being produced for State and spec projects.
Certify concrete loads being delivered to "spec" jobs in accordance with SHA specifications; check loads for proper procedure and time of mixing.
Perform quality assurance tests on trial batches of new concrete mix designs under close tolerance conditions and make adjustments until mixture meets specifications.
Troubleshoot problems with customers, analyze and evaluate specific conditions, situations, quantities, etc., and provide appropriate resolution.
Provide technical assistance and training to plant managers, equipment and yard operators, and drivers when requested.
Perform laboratory tests including gradation, moisture, lightweight particles and specific gravity tests on aggregates.
Select samples for materials that need certification by an outside laboratory or that are beyond the department capability. Transport these samples to the testing agency.
Perform additional tasks such as cleaning facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness, moving equipment and materials, and completing tasks for other positions when incumbent is absent.
Assist the Technical Services Manager and Assistant Manager as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Work Environment:
Work time will be split between indoors/office and outdoors/field

Job Type: Full Time; Non-Exempt The Quality Control Technician will work cross-functionally to plan, organize, and recommend strategies to ensure products are developed successfully and in accordance with all specifications, SOP's, and GMP's. This position will be responsible for enforcing processing and manufacturing procedures, technology, and business practices documented in state-level SOPs, policies, forms, and batch records. This includes a complete understanding of the operation and maintenance for all equipment and HMI controls critical to finished good manufacturing. Also responsible for ensuring finished gummies meet formulation specifications, food safety guidelines, and established quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections and audits to monitor and ensure traceability of product movement throughout the facility and to confirm established product quality requirements are achieved across all stages of production
* Promptly communicate identified discrepancies to site and regional leaders and document accordingly
* Advise operators of problems and follow up to ensure resolution; troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve efficiently to minimize production downtime
* Investigate and participate in correction activities as directed
* Assist with calibration, preventative, and routine maintenance of equipment
* Continuously monitor processes to ensure sampling is appropriate to the product; color, flavor, weight, size, and appearance of the finished product meets specifications
* Oversee QC for changeovers from one product or batch to another; ensure equipment and product continues to meet all specifications
* Works with and trains new employees in all facets of finished goods manufacturing operation
* Ensure work areas are maintained, organized, and in compliance with sanitary requirements
* Accurately complete documentation and enter data to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements; responsible for maintaining traceability in seed-to-sale and information management systems
* Perform duties related to sampling and testing as required by production and staffing needs
* Provide guidance on placement of operators and others on the production line
* Possesses knowledge of the sanitation, safety, and requirements for food processing, handling, and storage in manufacturing of Gummy products
* Responsible for CIP operation throughout all equipment used in the process to manufacture Gummy products
* Maintain HACCP for all products and processes manufactured onsite
* Lifts containers of in-process, finished, or waste products and transports within the facility as necessary
* Perform all duties in compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices

Education Requirements:
