Key Responsibilities:
*Product Analysis: Conduct analytical testing of products and raw materials; sample during the process, perform QA/QC tests, and coordinate sensory analysis.
*Equipment Maintenance: Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, including creating and updating training manuals.
*Quality Audits: Conduct quality audits, evaluate test data, verify deviations, and review Certificates of Analysis (COA).
*Non-Conforming Products: Identify and manage non-conforming products according to company quality standards.
*Continuous Improvement: Initiate and support projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
*SOP Development: Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures relevant to production processes.
*Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of test results and quality data.
*Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of quality-related materials.
*Training: Assist with orientation and training for new employees on quality processes.
Food Safety Responsibilities:
*Regulatory Compliance: Follow all Plant, State, and Federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF.
*GMP Adherence: Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices within the plant.
*Product Monitoring: Conduct monitoring activities to verify that finished products meet food safety and quality standards.
*System Review: Participate in annual reviews of the food safety system and assist in system maintenance.
Qualifications:
*Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience.
*Technical Knowledge: Expertise in GMP, HACCP, SQF, quality systems, SOPs, testing methods, and sensory evaluation.
*Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
Physical Demands:
*Must be able to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

As a key member of our Quality team, the Quality Technician Supervisor oversees and performs quality activities and processes on raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods.
About the Role:
Supervises and provides direction to Quality Technicians. Responsible for attracting and retaining talent including interviewing, hiring, coaching, disciplining, terminating employees. Manages work and time off schedules.
Is the process owner and performs activities related to incoming, in-process, and finished good inspection, sterilization release, sterility assurance, environmental monitoring, non-conformances, document control, and calibration. Coordinates the execution of First Article Inspections.
Ensures quality records are complete, compliant and accurate per quality procedures, and supports both internal and external audits and performs quality audits and inspections, as applicable.
Analyzes and presents quality data at the local and the division level, suggests improvement actions to ensure on time completion of processes and product, and assists in developing and improving quality procedures.
Lead Material Review Board and own and investigate CAPAs and audit nonconformities in process ownership areas, initiate non-conformances and assists with containment activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a high school diploma; or 4 years with an AS, BS or MS degree.
Excellent organizational and communication skills; attentive to detail with a strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations.
Demonstrated computer skills and a working knowledge of computer software (MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel).
Knowledge of medical device quality and safety requirements and familiar with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Experience with reviewing, investigating, resolving, and responding to customer complaints for medical devices preferred.
Proficient in the use of common measurement tools and familiar with sterility assurance and calibration concepts.
Demonstrated leadership skills, as well as success working independently and in a team environment.

**Job Profile Title: Quality Technician II**
**Location/Division Specific Information** - SLC/ Grantsville, UT/ S05
As the Quality Technician you will assist the Quality Engineering function, providing technical support in issues affecting manufacturing, supporting, and driving corrective action efforts and continuous improvements.
* Operate precision quality control equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, comparators, multimeters) to assess part quality & perform/document cosmetic, functional, and dimensional inspections as per the product quality plan.
* Evaluate product and process acceptability based on sampling results.
* Authorize the acceptance of conforming materials, rejection of non-conforming lots, and proper segregation and documentation of non-conforming materials.
* Conduct startup inspections and audits following Jabil documented procedures (LPA & FAI).
* Notify shift supervisors of non-conforming conditions for corrective action (QRQC), segregate/purge non-conforming products to prevent errors and maintain product quality, securing all materials are placed in the MRB area
* Communicate effectively with the next shift's quality technician about machine, product and quality issues.
* Adhere to all company policies, including safety, housekeeping (6S), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Maintain accurate documentation of inspections/process to provide verbal and written reports to supervisors regarding defects/issues found in products/mfg. line
**Education:**
* High School Diploma or GED required
**Experience:**
* Minimum of 2-years' experience working in a Quality related role is required
* Computer literate with intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
* Experience in a manufacturing, leading process improvements / lean manufacturing activities.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
* Strong planning & organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines, with A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Capable of working with minimal supervision and maintaining concentration on tasks.
* Adaptable to changes in priorities keeping positive attitude.
* Basic statistical knowledge and mid-advance personal computer skills.
* Able to read/interpretate DWG/SPEC/Schematics
* **Preferred Qualifications:**
* BS/BA degree in Manufacturing Technology / Mechanical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering
* Diploma in Quality or a related discipline
Salary/hourly rate range: $20.00/ hour - $28.66 - $36.84/ hour
$42,581.00 - 59,613.00 - 76,645.00 USD Annual salary
