    Manufacturing Technician ITHE ROLE:Our site in Colorado Springs is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team.Level I technicians are responsible for adhering to 5S principles and cleanroom standards, operating ultrasonic cleaning equipment, conducting pre-inspection on EUV Pods, and assisting with assembly/build tasks with more experienced technicians. At this level, technicians are also trained to work in the packaging station outside of the cleanroom. Duties will include sand blasting of metal parts, hand sanding and buffing, using CMM equipment.HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 11PM-7:30AM MONDAY-FRIDAYWHAT YOU'LL DO: Performing ultrasonic cleaning and pre-inspection on EUV pod bases/covers. Procuring packaging materials (i.e. Boxes, labels, etc.) and performing bagging/ packaging tasks following instructions. Assisting in EUV assembly tasks by shadowing and working closely with more experienced technicians and by closely following assembly instructions. Acquiring basic knowledge with part inspection and identifying quality defects by aesthetics documentation. Basic Understanding of 5S principles, basic product knowledge (how to differentiate between the different plate "options"), travelers, escalation process, cleanroom protocol, recycling program, and other crucial company procedures. Completing daily Pass down Printing Dome Labels/RFID box labels Performing door Torque testing in outside pack station and updating cam Line Data. -Expanding to other manufacturing areas (2nd operations, EUV machining, Advance Packaging) as needed. In this high-visibility role, you'll be the primary operational focal-overseeing planning, scheduling, material flow, and delivery while ensuring alignment across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and quality. Relocation assistance provided. **What You Will Do:** + Would be the primary quality interface for customers and suppliers for all High Temperature Composites programs (HTC) + Ensure the HTC program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements, will create the quality plan for each HTC customer/program and work on the compliance matrix. + Coordinating with Engineering, VSL and overseeing contracts through all program Lifecycle phases, from design to production and sustainment. + Develop and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives for HTC. + Certified DSQR for External HTC customers + Work with supplier quality to validate acceptability of supply chain approach and integrate new vendors, as applicable + Work with Engineering to draft new process specification and inspection criterion, as necessary + Work with procurement on quality notes/requirements for purchase orders + Works closely with Engineering and VSL to enforce process maturity, transition to production activities, and Conduct Production Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), gage R&R and Control plan. + Work with operation on First Article Inspection, and Quality Control Plan efforts and play a key role on submitting MRB and FAI to customers. + The PQE will work as part of the QA Team, conducting day to day Quality Assurance activities for HTC at the same time as engaging with key stakeholders across the organization (contracts, buyers, production control and operation) + The PQE will engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers + The PQE will review and approve changes to the technical data packages (ES), drawings, operation documents and assign actions when necessary. + Support cross-functional team in, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure. The position is working onsite at our Pueblo, CO facility Relocation assistance is available What You Will Do Lead root cause investigations using quality tools; develop, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including monitoring closure timelines and effectiveness. Collect, analyze, and assess quality data, process metrics, and defect trends from multiple sources to drive continuous improvement, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and prevent quality escapes. Measure, analyze, and improve complex manufacturing and business processes using data-driven and risk-based methodologies. Perform risk assessments and validation activities, including PFMEA, Gage R&R, and Measurement Process Reviews (MPR), to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks. Lead and manage quality improvement projects and organizational process initiatives to improve product quality, increase efficiency, and eliminate non-value-added activities. Provide expertise in production process analysis, ensure compliance with quality standards, and recommend and implement key quality and process improvements. Train and mentor site personnel on quality concepts, process changes, improvement projects, and related quality topics. Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS), including document control and record management. Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and records to ensure adherence to AS9100, FAA, and other applicable industry standards; support external certification and customer audits. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Experience with Root Cause and Correction Action Management Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Qualifications We Prefer Experience in manufacturing in aerospace, aviation, or automotive industry Experience with Lean management tools Auditing experience with AS9100 Experience in measuring and reporting key quality characteristics and objectives including PPM, COPQ, product testing, etc. Experience documenting with MES/SAP or similar tool as well as experience creating Corrective Action Reports.
