This position is responsible for the implementation and management of the project quality control program and performance of daily quality procedures and provide proper coordination and construction that meet project standards and requirements. The position will work directly with both internal and external team members, to provide document review, coordination, and implementation during construction and commissioning.
Position Description
Ability to work and communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, consultants and owner representatives. Execute inspections with trade partners to oversee checklist and accuracy before and after inspection.
Familiarity with a broad range of general construction processes and nomenclature including testing laboratory protocols and procedures, soils and concrete testing, asphalt paving, structural steel and welding and general construction observations.
Methodical and detail-oriented to assist the project team in assuring that Project QC documentation are complete, and procedures are followed to ensure issues are closed and project risk is mitigated.
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications including identification of errors or redundancies for resolution by others.
Mange equipment tracking tools by updating inspection statues and project workflows.
Conduct regularly scheduled quality and office/field meetings, review logs of Deficiencies, Punch List, etc., and provide documentation and meeting minutes.
Coordinate with trade partners for inspection paperwork, manage testing reports and train on software tools for best practices and consistency.
Create, document and distribute all checklists, inspections, completion lists, punch lists, and reports on the office side. Communicate to facilitate field activities required for issue completion, along with issue durations and due dates with trade partners.
Prepare weekly meeting agendas and lead weekly quality walks.
Work intimately with both office and field staff to understand the project schedule in order to execute the inspection process to support critical commissioning and energization dates.
Participate in Trade pre-installation meetings to verify that each Trade has an understanding of the Project's QC requirements before beginning work on site.
Monitor construction activities and review materials and equipment delivered to the project for adherence to specifications.
Ability to coach and mentor junior employees; seeking opportunities to grow in leadership roles.
Position Requirements
5-7 years of office or field construction focused experience on projects similar in nature, size, and extent.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Proficient in MS-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, BIM360, Field, SmartSheet, etc.
Certifications preferred but not required:
ICC (reinforcing, concrete, masonry, structural steel, soils, etc.)

POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured meet or exceed quality standards as well as all safety, environmental and ISO requirements. Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing and QC environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

Ensure QC testing samples are obtained according to the Quality Requirements testing Level (Work Instruction 9.1.36) and maintain a storage system for retained samples.
Monitors the execution of (G)ood (L)aboratory (P)ractices.
Responsible for the entry of test results in the QC tracking system and the crosscheck of records.
Has basic knowledge of 5S and can assist in training new employees
Orders supplies for the QC lab and ensures the QC data-up system is maintained and updated daily.
Assists in communications with production personnel to provide a smooth, efficient production flow of quality products, as needed.
Ensures all QC instruments meet calibration requirements listed in the calibration work instructions.
Works with team members to identify improved methods of QC analysis and/or new QC lab equipment to improve lab efficiencies.
Ensure that all CoA's, MSDS, Calibration/Verification, meet ISO 9001 traceability.
Complete and distribute all forms in accordance with the work instructions in the Q.C. Manual.

General Job Description:
In this position, the Quality Technician performs dimensional and/or functional inspection on purchased materials and manufactured parts. Uses technical expertise and inspection instrumentation to verify conformance of materials/parts to prints, process sheets and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Know & understand the use of all inspection equipment including

Micrometers
Calipers
Dial Indicators
Height Gages
Optical Comparators
Gage Pins and Gage Blocks
Sine Blocks and Setups
Surface Finish Testers
CMM
Thread Gages
Understand basic Geometric Tolerance. Able to read and understand drawings
Knowledgeable about current quality system standards such as ISO-9002 and/or TS16949
Ability to multitask in response to numerous demands; time management skills
Computer literate: Excel, Word, etc.
Attention to detail
Desired Skills:
Experience with inspection and measuring equipment calibration
Previous auditing experience and skills
Experience writing procedures and work instructions
PPAP documentation experience
Specific Duties:
Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections
Provide inspection results to Quality Engineer for inclusion in PPAP's
Understand cosmetic part requirements based on specific customer standards
Provide inspection support based on needs of Manufacturing and Engineering Managers
Maintain up to date documentation by completing all necessary paperwork i.e. in-process inspection records, signing off on travelers, 1st piece inspection tags, etc.
Perform basic training as required for operator or team leader for First-Piece and In-Process Inspection
Provide continuous feedback to the Assistant Quality Manager regarding quality, engineering and manufacturing-related issues
Suggest process improvements
Perform part and process related internal audits
Maintain QA Lab and equipment in clean, orderly condition
Special projects and assignments
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lifts and/or moves 25-50 pounds
Requires frequent reaching, handling and grasping
Requires occasional climbing of stairs, balancing, bending, crouching, fine manipulation and feeling

Job Summary:
We're seeking a battle-ready Quality Technician who can take the frontlines of our Quality Assurance efforts. This individual will ensure our products meet the highest standards in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment. You'll be key in supporting the quality control of metalworking processes like forging, casting, machining, and painting - all while maintaining battle-ready standards in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion a Quality-Driven Culture: Help instill a company-wide culture of Quality based on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Develop & Support QMS Processes: Assist in developing Quality Control processes for defense-grade steel forgings and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Conduct Audits & Enforce Standards: Lead process audits and enforce strict quality standards to maintain battle-ready products.
Crush Defects: Use RCCA tools (8D, 5-Why) to resolve defects and non-conformances swiftly and effectively.
Monitor SPC and inspection data to keep processes tightly controlled
Work hand-in-hand with Quality, Process, and Manufacturing Engineers to design and validate precise manufacturing processes.
Participate in Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and eliminate defects
Support Quality Engineers in addressing customer quality issues and requests with precision and urgency
Support the calibration program for measurement and test equipment
Be a key stakeholder in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, working with cross-functional teams in defect investigations and problem-solving efforts.
Assist shift Quality Supervisors and Quality Inspectors to maintain Quality Control standards
Required Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or higher in a STEM discipline, or High School diploma plus significant experience, with ASQ or other technical certifications preferred
Experience: 3-5+ years experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in manufacturing environments; supported ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality system compliance and auditing; defense/ ammo / aerospace / complex manufacturing - assembly experience a plus
Technical Skills: Proficiency with RCCA tools (8D, 5-Why), SPC monitoring, and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Leadership/Work Style: Hands-on production Quality Technician, thrives under pressure, mentor and partner to production teams and Quality Supervisors
Soft Skills: Sharp communicator, proactive problem-solver, coach / mentor to production Quality Inspectors
Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, lift 50 lbs in a gritty shop with heat and noise
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of defense standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ITAR).
Familiarity with metallurgy for ferrous, non-ferrous, and super alloys.
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (e.g., ultrasonic, dye penetrant).
Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ CQT / CQI certification

Basic Purpose: The Sensory Quality Lab Technician is responsible for sensory evaluation (cupping), physical grading, sample testing (moisture, density) and ensuring smooth flow of activities in the Sensory Quality Lab. This role is responsible for ensuring raw materials and finished goods are evaluated according to network-wide standards preparation methods and customer specifications as applicable.
This position is also responsible for recording and inputting approval data into the Quality Control Systems (D365, Probat DMS and Sharepoint).
Essential Responsibilities / Specific Duties:
Sensory Assessment (cupping):
· Conducts finished good physical and sensory assessments utilizing a repeatable and systematic methodology that enables comparing a variety of samples, side by side or by utilizing a standard.
· Prepares green receiving samples for approval
· Conducts or assists with green grading approval
· Partner with site specific Quality Assurance to ensure sensory quality control functions are performed properly
· Follows network-wide sensory standards and protocols at specific site location.
· Responsible for entering approval or rejection data for raw materials
Sensory Assessment (cupping) Preparation:
· Follows proper handling of raw materials and finished goods in relation to setting up of a cupping table
· Prepares and roasts raw material samples to specification
· Responsible for ensuring cupping preparation meets all customer specific and MP sensory specifications and requirements
· Responsible for the daily cleaning of cupping lab and cupping lab equipment
Product Development:
· Assist in formulation of new products and renovation of existing products, introducing new profit streams into the company
· Assist in execution against product development briefs and development requests including associated production trials and benchtop samples
· Assist in timely delivery of samples to key internal stakeholders and prospective and/or existing customers
Reporting Relationship (List Positions):
This position reports directly to the Manager, Sensory Quality
Internal Relationships:
Daily interaction with all levels of: Product Development, Commodities, Quality and Operations
External Relationships:
Occasional support with Customer visits and training sessions
QUALIFICATIONS:
