ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides support to the engineering teams in the plating, wet etch, and stripping process areas
Supports the plating, wet etch, and stripping processes by preparing, maintaining, and setting up recipes to ensure an efficient and consistent process
Reviews and documents processes and procedures; partners with engineering to implement changes effectively
Expedites and dispositions prototype wafers in the plating, wet etch and stripping areas
Assists engineers to run plating process development experiments, collects and analyzes data, and recommends corrective action if required
Reviews and maintains process controls using SPC and prepares charts and graphs
Assists with routine trouble-shooting and resolves basic process-related issues
Participates in and recommends modifications to procedures or processes in support of continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborates with Engineering to qualify or approve new processes or procedures
Creates reports, charts, or graphs on an ad-hoc or routine basis
Prepares daily pass down report for engineers, next shift plating process technicians, and manufacturing plating technicians

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in Electronics or Industrial Technology and/or equivalent relevant experience
Two years of experience working in the semiconductor industry
Knowledge of plating, wet processes and procedures
Hands on experience using metrology tools such as pH meter, Tencor Thickness Profiler, XRF, and B-H loop tools
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Plating Process Technician works primarily in an indoor environment on A shift which is Monday thru Wednesday and every other Thursday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. May be exposed to hazardous conditions, chemicals, fumes, and/or gases during the course of work day; Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment. Must be able to load and unload various wet etch chemical solutions several times per shift. May be required to push, pull, or lift up to 25 pounds.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:
10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

What You'll Do:
Ensure Quality Control. Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Main point of contact for process quality issues, including any inspection activities, priorities and escalations.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with PE/TE/PM to ensure alignment on quality objectives and priorities.
Support regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
Provide a guidance of the acceptance criteria on the cosmetic issues to QC and MFG team.
Coordinate and resolve Stop line, Quarantine and QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) issues.
Refocusing QA resources from data-gathering/reporting to using audit for driving process improvement opportunities.
Direct QA resources in performing primarily in-line audits to auditing primary upstream processes.
Establish and build closer links between site QA teams and Engineering / Manufacturing teams.
Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
Develop proactive solutions and implement Quality department strategies across the organization.
Customer-facing site-based QA representative who can effectively present and communicate to internal customers and other areas.
Direct site QA teams to maintain consistent standards & metrics & to share/implement best practices across products.
Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans (8Ds) and perform additional assessment and analysis as assigned.
Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
Assess and evaluate all reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and the verification process.
Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Coordinate UL (Underwriter's Laboratory) and other regulatory factory audits.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline plus 3 years of experience including a combination of 2+ years in contract manufacturing, 3+ years in quality control and 3+ years in a leadership position or equivalent combination of experience.
Prior manufacturing engineering and quality experience.
Proven understanding of mechanical drawing and/or tools.
Experience with server/computer, build or repair processes.
Knowledge of key customer processes (i.e. Microsoft, etc.)
Demonstrated background in interfacing with key customers within the high tech industry and experience working across multiple sites sharing best practices & implementing process improvements.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Hands on experience with quality system training including understanding of SPC (Statistics Process Control) principles and tools.
Established ability prioritizing and managing multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high volume, and diverse environment across functions to produce expected results.
Able to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel to all manufacturing and warehouse locations, for business meetings or training.

Stanford University is seeking a Clinical Manufacturing Quality Assurance Analyst 1 to support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes and procedures for the Laboratory for Cell and Gene Medicine (LCGM). Duties include: * Assist with developing, drafting, maintaining, and compiling process related documents to support cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) clinical manufacturing. Support with generating procedures by following set guidelines and provide suggestions for issues found in documentation processes.
* Assist with Investigational New Drug (IND) submissions to the Food and Drug Administration by compiling and providing supporting documentation and answering questions for regulatory affairs during the application process.
* Identify, classify, and report deviations from the process and/or protocols to provide recommendations and process improvements to Product Development/ Manufacturing (PD/MFG) and Quality Control, to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, and to assist in the resolution of issues. Escalate critical issues within assigned area to senior management team based on severity of the issue.
* In support of clinical trials, review batch records and product dispositions to ensure process is performed per procedure guidelines and address any deviations.
* Assist with the development of standardizing processes for review and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), batch records, raw materials specifications, certificate of analysis, training records etc.
* Execute quality assurance operations required to assess, evaluate, and review processes against cGMPs .Perform real-time observation of activities and issue identification/resolution including proper and timely documentation.
* Provide resolution of quality assurance issues/documentation in compliance with LCGM policies, cGMP, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols. Report quality issues internally and to appropriate departments.
* Participate in regulatory, quality and compliance meetings to represent Quality Assurance;
* Responsible for compiling, organizing and storing all documentation related to FDA and cGMP regulations including developing and maintaining a system for storing documents.
