    Quality technician job in Mesa, AZ

    The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and monitor the manufacturing and inspection processes within the facility. The Role Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Inspector to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. The key responsibilities of this Quality Inspector include, but are not limited to: Monitoring of manufacturing/inspection processes for components, sub-assemblies, assemblies that are highly diversified and both mechanical and electrical in nature AS9100 Incoming Receiving Inspection and understanding of material certification review for assembly components Inspection and acceptance of raw materials (rubbers and metals) Completion of AS9102 form. The Location Mesa, AZ 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ The Person The key skills and qualities of a Quality Inspector at Amphenol Aerospace Operations: Monitoring of manufacturing/inspection processes for components, sub-assemblies, assemblies that are highly diversified and both mechanical and electrical. Reading, interpreting, and working to blueprints, drawings, and process and design specifications. First Article Inspections. Completion of AS9102 form. Ability to run and interpret results on CMM or other optical measuring systems. Programming experience a plus Incoming Receiving Inspection and material certification review for assembly components. Counterfeit Components Training Inspection and acceptance of raw materials such as metal bars and coils. Ability to understand and inspect to workmanship standards.
