Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently seeking Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our Copper Crossing Value Stream (CXVS) facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Role description & Responsibilities:
A Manufacturing Technician performs hands on activities/tasks associated with manufacturing of composite rocket cases. Tasks may include but are not limited to Tooling Assembly/Disassembly, Case Surface Preparation, winding composite equipment operation, maintaining cleanliness of the work area and facilities, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. These candidates must participate as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost and schedule of their team.
This is a weekday, night shift position. Overtime is worked as necessary.
Requirements:
• Must be willing to perform shift work and overtime, as required. This could include weekends and holidays.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license
• Required to perform safe handling of hazardous waste materials for disposal.
• Possess ability to understand and apply stringent procedures to assigned duties.

This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.

Job Overview:
The Quality Inspector performs activities related to quality assurance including, but not limited to: Inspection of components and finished goods, completing associated documentation, and support of other quality-related activities.

Responsibilities:
Tests products at specified stages in the production process and records test data, applying quality control procedures and accurately documenting the results of the inspections and testing.
Responsible for monitoring the quality control of raw materials, product-in-process and finished product run during the shift.

Testing and other quality-related services to internal customers and ultimately assures product quality, integrity, and safety to the consumer under the direction of the QA Team Manager and QA management.
Shift: Sunday -Wednesday 6:45pm-7:00am
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect and perform analytical testing on finished products and check finished products for any defects incurred during the packaging process.
Collect and perform analytical testing on all in-process products.
Perform analytical tests on in-coming raw materials prior to use in the process.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures.
Communicate, retest, release, reject, investigate, and/or escalate as necessary during off-quality situations.
Block/release materials in the system and enter hold data into SAP or other tracking files.
Enter quality test results, scan paperwork into SAP, and monitor SAP for completion of inspections.
File quality documents and input and save quality data in the appropriate locations.
Provide support to the blending department to adjust out of spec product parameters.
Approve bottle color changes. Match/verify plastic component colors as needed.
Provide assistance to manufacturing personnel and/or process engineers during test runs and other production projects.
Collect, label, and store retain samples according to established procedures.
Keep quality work areas clean and organized.
Assist with training of associates in areas of expertise.
Must be in quality lab by start of shift and fully participate in shift hand off activities, including updates to escalations and action items.
Must continuously follow all safety policies and procedures on the job.
Must complete Compliance Trainings

Job duties include:
Buying off plated parts and certs for Anodize, Paint, chem film, and various other types of plating and processing.
Ensuring product meets blueprint requirements using various measuring and inspection techniques including micrometers, calipers, CMM, surface plate, optical comparator, etc.
Completing paperwork per AS9100 requirements.
Auditing product and procedures to the AS9100 standard.
Qualified candidates will:
Have at least 1year of experience using inspection methods listed.
Be willing to work overtime as needed.
Be able to integrate communicate and work well with others in a team environment.

Focus Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Quality Technician to join our team in Ogden, Utah. The Quality Technician is responsible for performing inspections across all stages of the production process.
Responsibilities:
Dimensionally inspect all parts (internally manufactured and sourced) using measuring devices to ensure they meet engineering specifications
Follow specifications of blueprints and general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Analyze inspection data and manage non-conformances
Complete required paperwork and checklists
Perform work with a high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety and quality
Read and understand blueprints, part drawings, internal process instructions and other technical data to perform visual and dimensional inspection activities
Collaborates with all departments to ensure quality at the source and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Some experience in quality control in a product manufacturing setting
Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
Some experience in GD&T and the reading of drawings
Strong mathematical and communication skills
Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively

Job DescriptionSalary: $20 - $22 DOE
This is a full time, non-exempt position. This individual is responsible for completion of activities related to the Quality system. This position regularly interacts and/or collaborates with other departments within BioFire in the execution of their duties. Position follows standard work practices and procedures, and must operate in accordance with FDA, OSHA, ISO, and applicable government regulations and standards.
This individual will collect, organize, monitor, and distribute information related to Quality and process improvement functions, possibly including but not limited to compliance to and documentation of Quality Management standards. Typically generates reports using computer skills and distributes those reports to various users in the organization.
This individual will follow established procedures to complete tasks within the Quality system.
Other responsibilities include assisting with other activities related to the Quality system. This position requires intermediate computer skills, and good attention to detail. After training has been completed, this individual is expected to work independently or cooperatively in the completion of tasks assigned by their direct supervisor.
Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:
