QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Ability to read, understand and apply technical specifications. Previous experience with welding and fabrication preferred. Mechanical and electrical capability that includes pneumatic/oxygen systems, valves, gauges, motor / gear box assemblies, basic wiring, etc. Working knowledge of Lean, Standardization and Practical Problem Solving. Conceptual knowledge of PLC capability and operation, relationship of volume, pressure and mass regarding solids and gases, pressure vessel care and maintenance. Good technical writing skills. Ability to build effective relationships and liaise with colleagues at all levels and from various cultures. Self starter, able to work with minimal management input. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications. Must be able to work in an ever-changing environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle competing tasks and demands.
