POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Document Control Specialist provides document management support to the Engineering teams at QISG. This individual will be an integral part of the engineering team and will assist wherever necessary to ensure the design teams have the support they need to manage and distribute projects to the clients.

What You'll Do
Store, retrieve and distribute project documents such as drawings, calculations, emails, minutes of meeting, and other related project documents.
Assist in the administration of Vault document management system to ensure all documents are properly stored and no information is corrupted or lost.
Set up new project folders in Vault and ensure that all documents are stored in the proper folder locations.
Learn client documents systems as needed to facilitate the uploading and downloading of project specific documents.
Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested.
Demonstrate knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

Support incident response efforts, documentation, and corrective action processes as needed
Assist in executing project-specific safety initiatives and maintaining field-level compliance documentation
Collaborate with field leaders, foremen, and safety teams to maintain a strong, proactive safety culture
What You'll Bring
HS Diploma/GED preferred
Minimum 8 years of experience in the power industry is a must, with a strong background in Transmission
Experience could be as a lineman, foreman, or safety with direct experience in the field
Completed applicable OSHA safety training is required
Strong knowledge of job-site safety practices in electrical utility environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management tools
Must be willing to travel
