I really like the people and management is very supportive and educational driven welcoming mobility.
Not enough food vendors in the immediate area and no cafeteria on site.
Flexibility as far as hours
very warm and friendly person. He is very approachable and cares very much about the employees and the customers who visits the Queens Public Library every day. He goes down to the main floor to welcome the people just about every morning when the library opens.
Continue to make a positive contribution as far as community impact, diversity and inclusion and educating myself as much as possible about the vision and the mission of the Queens Public Library.
I went to indeed and saw some jobs at the Queens Public Library and applied. In addition, I went directly to the Queens Public Library website and applied for a job.
I think that the compensation is a little less than industry standards, but the benefits and the environment outweighs the difference in the salary by far. QPL is a wonderful place to work, and although I am a part-time temporary worker, I would really be interested in a full-time job is given the opportunity.
I really think it's good.
What brings the most joy here at QPL every day is being able to feel like my voice, my contribution, and my life matters here at QPL.
